Re: Newbie
Stock internals dont like much over 450Rwhp...if the tune is spot on she will live.....The aluminator block is pretty stout and priced right.

Hmmm, you don't need it, we will just keep it here. I didn't know we borrowed that from you, small world.

Yea, two of them came all at once, then one guy almost signed the paperwork on another one that came in that he ordered and then backed out on it. Then the white/blue is used with 800 miles, the silver/blue kr came around 3 weeks ago, I guess we still have that one also. Just the market right now, nobody wants a 46k mustang especially with 2010's coming out soon, should be some good deals on 09's gt500 real soon.

I'd say it would be a great upgrade for the money. You'd be hard pressed to build a short block of equal quality for the $$
Alot of gt500's around the area for sale, heck we have 4 at knight ford and one kr. But they are slow and heavy so you should just stick with your gt.....
Kelly,
Its funny that you mentioned Chris.... I had a couple of classes with him. He is the guy I bought my F150 from.... I don't think he liked the fact I traded in my GT for the Roush.... I told him... If y'all sold Roushs... I would have bought it from you!

Re: Newbie
Did I hear someone say "Used" GT500? Whats the price? If we can make a deal for 32-35K I might do it.

We use to sell roush around 2000-2001, man it wasn't worth the hassle and we never did sell hardly any, the only thing the roush mustangs did accomplish is getting put on bricks cause everyone was stealing the rims on them at that time right in front of the building. The service side is almost as bad, have to get approval, parts, flashes from roush, no thanks, cooper can keep that headache, nice cars though.

I know what they got in it and it's above 35k, so don't think 35k is gonna be possible. I think they are asking 44k, which I know is super high, but start high and work low I guess. The vehicle is all stock besides tinted windows and was below 800 miles. It has probably been on the lot 3-4 weeks, they are probably ready to come off that price by now. But hey what do I know, I don't sell them, I fix them. :)

Re: Newbie
Used IMO depreciated the value as soon as it was driven off the lot. Im sure they have only 28-30 in it as a trade. If they gave more than that there dumb. And as an auction estimate Id say I'm in the ball park. I place an offer of 34K as a starting bid.

Thats why I don't sell cars, I know nothing about what they are worth. I know for a fact they didn't give 28-30k as a trade in though. Hell I wouldn't sell my gt500 for 28-30k especially if it only had 700 miles, depreciate 20k in 700 miles, no way. I would want over 35k for mine if I was trading it with 700 miles, would I get that much, don't know, but I would think thats pretty fair. Lucky for me I won't have to worry about selling mine, it's a keeper.

Re: Newbie
Forget the local dealers. I can go to BHF and they will source one for me in the price range I want and have it brought in. There are distressed dealers all over the US right now that can't sell anything. I'm sure I can find one in the price range that I want to pay if I try hard enough.

Re: Newbie
Just quick glance at ebay I found one for 36 range with 3000 miles. Also found this one, got to pay cash for 33 range.

I just don't see under 1000 mile gt500's going for below 35 range, unless the buyer is very desperate. Heck you could buy new one for under msrp here before long when 2010's come out.

They will come down, they will have to real soon, they like to sell used cars in 60 days, they will obviously make a exception on the gt500 but that is usually the rule they go by, after 60 days it goes to the auction.
