Hi everyone. My name is Mick. Glad to be part of an awesome club. I have been looking to join a mustang club and I heard this one was the best around, "SWEET"!!!!!. I own a white 2008 Mustang GT. Its has been to CARFX for some suspension and exhaust work. Im trying to make the stang a "show and go" car. Its my daily driver so I cant get too crazy..Im looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time.

Newbie Empty Aluminator short block

Post by melthrottlejunky 2/3/2009, 10:03 pm

Has anyone ran the new aluminator short block? Im running a KB charger and thinking about upgrading the enging to handle more h.p.. Im running a little over 400 h.p. to the back wheel at 9 lbs of pressure. I heard the stock block cant handle anything over 475 h.p......

I have considered the aluminator when I decide to pull the trigger on more HP if I dont trade for a GT500.

I'd say it would be a great upgrade for the money. You'd be hard pressed to build a short block of equal quality for the $$

Alot of gt500's around the area for sale, heck we have 4 at knight ford and one kr. But they are slow and heavy so you should just stick with your gt..... lol!
