Childish but i feel better Now..

I know its childish but the guy that backed out of selling me his bullitt without talking me to at all posted on the Bullitt forum about the new one he bought so I had to chime in.

To give some History.. This guy posted his 01 Bullitt for sale on Dead Horse and on IMBOC forums.. he had it posted for $9800 so I sent him a pm and asked about the car and asked what his bottom dollar was. He replied back and said he would take 8700 because he needed to cover tag title and tax on his next car. I secured the cash and called him back. He sounded surprised that I moved so quickly on this which with that low of a price I wasnt going to wait.. He said he couldnt have it ready till the weekend at the earliest. I waited and tried to get a hold if him closer to the weekend and it never happened. He did not reply to pm's e-mails or phone calls. I even left him a message begging him to just let me know what was going on. I told him if he just decided not to sell it to just tell me. I still never heard a thing..

Bottom line is that I REALLY wanted that car bad. I dont know that I have wanted a car that bad in a long time.. This one was the one I was going to keep for a very long time and he crushed me by backing out of this deal.. And part of it was just the way he did it.. We waited on him and finally had no choice.. I ended up with a nice car but not as nice as his and we paid a hundred more for the one I have now.. Anyway.. I feel a little better since I got to call him out on his board for it.. I know its childish and I should grow up but I dont want to.. lol.. Anyway.. If your bored go ahead and read it all and you be the judge. Would you be bitter? I feel a little better now though..

I was thinking the same thing abou tthe club. He may not be a bad guy but he certainly wont be getting any christmas gifts from me..

That sucks, but I think you were right calling him out on it.

Like I said.. I understand someone backing out of a sale.. He had it priced cheap and I think he realized how cheap after he was into it. My issue is with the way he handled it. Yes I was crushed but i can understand a man not wanting to part with his car for peanuts.. Just let the seller know.. Dont just cut off communications like a child..

I am with you, at least have the common courtesy to say that you dont want to sell the car right now.

FYI, there is an 08 black bullitt at bill knight ford forsale.

Is there a wallet full of cash laying next to it? If not I dont believe I will be buying.. As much as I would love to.. We need to get the wife a car first and then some time down the road I might look at buying a newer stang..
