i feel i appropriatly responded
okdm had a few ppl ragging on us so i figured i would respond politly:
bmmc does not want their forums to be full of swearing or hate, poking fun is ok but when you take it to a personal level then you have crossed the line. as it stands the 3v jokes get tiring, there arnt any 2v/4v jokes? honestly if people tryed to rag on you car all the time it would get tired as well. further more there sense of humor is fine. as it stands there really is no reason for 3v hate. its something i have been trying to figure out for a long time.
were part of a club because we enjoy mustangs. we are not here for the drama. we are here for an exchange of information and to help each other out. that is and always has been the purpose of a club. to further a goal sport etc, to offer support to its members, and educate others about the clubs goals ect.
for a mustang club that means exchanging information on technology, racing techniques, offering support for projects, modifications and sharing knowledge gained from experience. the primary goal above all else is to enjoy your hobby. that however should not require trying to make others miserable.
2 cents enjoy
good? yay nay? im really tired of the people trying to make others miserable. its getting annoying. we'll have to wait and see what the response is.

That is not going to go over well on that site. I don't think anyone will have a problem with it, but it is just going to draw more ridicule and jokes from everyone.
I personally think the 3 valve motors are very nice, reliable powerplants. I like all Mustangs, well maybe all except the mid/late 70's models!! J/k!

actually i think it went over quite well, i didint use profanity. on the other hand some one has, and it has just made my point made in the post all the more valid.
EDIT: i havent seen anything wrong with the modular powerplants, i love them all, even the sn95 are beautiful to me. i could live with any year mustang.

I was mostly referring to the 3 valve hate over there. That post isn't going to help that. Don't get me wrong, I don't get it either, but I can't see that helping anything.

Re: i feel i appropriatly responded
Yeah. I was thinking about going to tnt this week too.
As for the midnites, I'm not sure yet when I will head out there. I think it starts at 10pm and there is usually a long line out front about an hour before the gates open.
I'm tryin' to talk some of my el es juan friends to come down too!

Re: i feel i appropriatly responded
I think it was a case of mistaken Identity guys. Both LXhatch302 and Jst3fun were not Mike with different screen names. They are 2 members on DH. I am unbanning their usernames and IPs.
They said some pretty harsh things over there about us, but they are Tulsa local and Im sure their not like that in person. And I hope that that kind of talk doesnt persist.
I dont know Chris or Brad, but would like to meet them. They cant be all that bad of guys if they own mustangs.
Some of us will be at Fudruckers next Tuesday and I believe so will they. No better time to introduce ourselves.

Chris and his brother Pat are really not bad people, I have met both of them before buying/selling parts.

Re: i feel i appropriatly responded
I have to say, this thread is what makes your club a group of great people! I read that thread last night on DH before shutting down my computer. I made a few comments hopeing to help put a defuser in there, but with no results. I read it again this morning after it got locked and was almost embarrased to be part of DH. I think some of the things said over there were completely out of line. But this is a great testimony to how you guys are over here.

Re: i feel i appropriatly responded
Well written Jared. Thanks for representing BMMC!
I don't mind reactivating them, as long as they know the rules. I've said it before... I don't mind a little smack talking. But don't get on a new forum and immediately start talking crap... Don't want it , don't need it and won't tolerate it. We want this to be a positive place.
Groovy? Cool. Now let's have some fun.

Thanks Bret! I found commenting over is useless. So I won't do it. They have there place and we have ours. We'll each attract a different sort of member. And that's fine by me. :)

Hey Bret! its been a while...yea some of the comments did get out of line...But their just words...I dont believe I saw blood
So no worries...sometimes a group can get carried away in the "moment" and say some pretty harsh things...that otherwise in person would not happen. So I can understand that. Thanks for your help over there...and appreciate the kind comments on here! Your a stand up guy

Re: i feel i appropriatly responded
i use to hang on okdhm all the tiem but i got tired of the constant attacks by people, there are some gneuinly great ppl there, but as with any forum there are some not so great ppl.
i was very tempted to respond badly but my better half won over for this round. no need to respond viciously, would only engender a similar response from them.
always here to represent and put the best foot forward for the club.

No concerts for me....wish I could though!
As for being active...we have grown quite a bit. Some arent as active on the forum, but attend the events..its a pretty cool sight to see when we all get together. Lots of friendly people from different backgrounds

Re: i feel i appropriatly responded
Nothing better than a blowoff valve going off! That damn hellion twin turbo kit has me thinking bad thoughts. It made like 717rwhp with just the compound s/c and tt setup with 8lbs from s/c and 8 from t/t. Then it made 800rwhp when they cranked up the boost on the compound system. They then put a hat in place of blower and made 1000rwhp with stock motor keeping it under 6000rpms.
