David Cox.

I used Car Toys to do mine. If you like to haggle with salesman, you can get a better price by asking for it. They do good work, they are just busy this time of the year, probably about a week or so out.

I appreciate the vote of confidence in naming me the club electronics guru, but I'm afraid I'm clueless when it comes to installing auto start on a vehicle - I've never done that. I second the vote for having Car Toys install it - I've used them a couple of times in the past; they can be high but they do quality work. Might get Chris (Needforspeed) to chime in on this too - he recently had a Pioneer radio installed by someone in Sapulpa (or Sand Springs?) that Chris recommended.

Installed that sounds about right. I went with the autostart and alarm combo since my truck is parked outside. I think i spent around 6 bills. I think if you go in there and talk to them can get it installed for around $225. I love the range on mine, I have had autostart work up to a 1/4 of a mile away, it is advertised for at least a mile.

Another thing they did that was really nice was the retained the factory led on my f-150, so no new holes drilled in my dash. I was very pleased with the service and quality.

Well shit!!

I had one installed on another vehicle about 7 years ago and it only cost me $150.00 but it was a buddy deal and he was able to hook it to the factory alarm. I just figured it would be about that now without the buddy deal. It's for my brother-n-law's vehicle. He is a good guy but damn. I think he will be getting something different for X-MAS

I dont think they can do manufacturer alarm hook ups. you will probably have to go through the manufacturer, if its available.

Its not hard, but it does involve a lot of cutting of a lot of important wires, and not quite sure what would happen if we got it wrong.

I bet I can make it work with a 9V Battery, a transister radio and a pack of bubble gum.

Think I will look into Car Toys or a Nissan dealership. Though I did have one installed at Best Buy on my Rodeo and it worked just fine. Was not that expensive either.
