03 cobra 15,997?!?!

So at the dealership (the mitsubishi place) on memorial has an 03 cobra for that price. I went and looked at it today, the fag put on stickers for no apparent reason, it has a wannabe cobra r wing but they didnt fill in the old spoiler holes. There is also a dent where it looks like something fell on the front left fender, and wear on the drivers seat. It only has 53k miles too. I wonder why they are selling it so cheap, he said I could probably trade my car plus $3k for it. WTF is wrong with this deal, I think it has been ridden harder than....

They might have traded and found out it had a salvage title. They can still take it in on trade, but good luck trying to get it financed. Smells fishy, and probably been rode hard.

Ahhh yes forgot about the title issue, that could very well be it... Wouldnt they have noticed that BEFORE they took it in? I think it leaks a little oil from around the vc's too which I thought was interesting...

any number of things could have gone wrong. could have been running the wrong tune, bad tune, or just not know to take care of it. Thats why i wanted to buy mine from an individual and I did and have no regrets with the deal. The title they should have known ahead of time, but they could have ended up only giving 8000 or so on trade. Thats pretty good profit if the pull it off.

Well supposedly they gave $14k for it but who knows, probably not. If by chance I did get serious about it I would have Kurtis look at it before I made any decision. The only reason why I would get it is because its a steal...

Yeah, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

If your serious about it go test it out and have Kurtis look it over before you agree to anything. If they are reputable they shouldn't have a problem with it.

That Cobra your talking about started out at 21k and has been reduced numerous times. It is in awful condition and looks like sh!t . Someone did not take good care of that car at all. I would be careful and stay away from it.
