The what if game
I am very perclimpt. Talk amungest your selves. I will give you a topic. If you had to decide between a Super Snake package or a Boss 302 Laguna Seca, what would you do. Discuss.

Re: The what if game
i'd take the boss and store it away knowing it will likely be just like the cobra r's of the past and begin very quickly to become worth more and more. if it's a car that i would be driving somewhat regularly i'd want the SS

Re: The what if game
The boss is a completly different animal from any other mustang from what I have read. I haven;t been in either one. Both would give the what Paul calls the FU factor when you pull up somewhere.
I say Boss LS, you can always build an SS on your own. A little harder to build an LS.
+1 for the BOSS

I have to admit, I was nursing a chubby when I was that red SS with the 3.6 LC.

Boss. For what they charge for the SS, you could build it yourself for 1/2 the price. Ask Mike D.

Re: The what if game
What are you looking for Jake? Straight line performance? road course? Everyday driver? something that going to be a collector? I have to go with the SS package. I mean I'm building a second car and doing my own SS build. yea its going to save me about 18,000-22,000 but you don't get the little badge on the radiator support or on the dash so basically its a clone but i like the looks a lot better than the Boss. Just my personal opinion. I feel that it will out perform the Boss in most head to head match ups again just my opinion. Ask yourself do you think the Boss car can break the tires loose at 70-80 mph?

Re: The what if game
Supersnake package all the way! Put it together yourself if you want to save some $, but if you want the prestige then send it off to have it done.
The 3.6LC blower sitting under the hood of that 5.4 at the Shelby Show did me in...the styling and stance of that car is just amazing. Talk about presence.
The boss would be a good weekend track car, the SS would be a great drivers car for weekly use!
All my opinion of course

Re: The what if game
I have been leaning toward the SS package as well. Called Shelby last week and they are in the 80's on 2011 SuperSnakes.
Also spoke to the guys in their speed shop. If you do hearers with the 3.6 LC they have seen 890-910 HP at the crank. No the only question is do I go with the Black strip and wheels or white strip and polished wheels. I know Mikes hatred of black wheels but I think with the candy apple red calipers behind black wheels would look insane.
Going to what till the official release of the 2013 information before I do anything, but barring a big change, 5.8 or turbos the old gril will be headed to Vegas.

Re: The what if game
Shelby won't accept a GT500 that has all the parts already put on. If you are going to SS the car then it needs to be all but stock. They were reluctant to give me a credit for the front brakes that I bought through Shelby.

Re: The what if game
Depends on what your looking to do. From what i understand the LS is not made for the road and you will more than likely pull your front splitter off as far as the ss.... i love them but for the money you can build a 500 up. If it wede me id pick up a boss and drop a kb on top?
