Im about to brew some stuff up. It should be really good and will slightly resemble a Sam Adams brown ale. Ill let you all enjoy some after it is done.

Hey, do you go to the Mecca on Brookside? I have a buddy that makes beer and buys his hops and stuff there. He made a wicked I.P.A. then followed it up with 5 batches of crap. Oh well, whatever gets you there...
As for the fav store bought I have to go with the Belgian Trappist Monk beer: Chimay all the way.
As an aside, has anyone tasted the multiple award winning Sam Adams Triple Bock? Tastes like Worcestershire sauce fermented into a syrup.

No not yet. The only place I have been into that was 21 and up was Suede a couple years ago. I dont turn 21 until may lol. If the Mecca is a store to buy brewing products that is also a negative. I got my stuff from high gravity. We just got done with my batch a couple minutes ago, the gravity was 1.072, which means it will probably be a high 6 point beer. It was fairly dark, and looks like it should be pretty full bodied. With the malto dextrin we added the head should stay as long as there is beer, I cant wait to taste it!

Only if you still have a few of those '9 lives left'. Otherwise that combo would be a life/death crap shoot and on any given day and 'somebody may get a chance to cash in on your life insurance policy'.
