Maybe...just maybe the thief will get off the meth and get his life in order. At least our Cobra's are safe until 03/27/13. Not sure justice was had but better than nothing.

Hey Stuart! Good to hear from you again! And good news to know that our cars will be safe from him for at least a couple of years.

Thank you David. I'm still lurking around. I couldn't believe how down the Mid-America Ford Meet was this year. Starting to get serious about buying a 2008 GT500 or a 2011 or 2012 Mustang GT. Can't decide on which one. The Tulsa Assistant District Attorney stated Mike couldn't stay clean for 5 years and he was right. Mike didn't even come close.

When the police went to the garage of his girlfriends house, stolen Cobra parts were found there. That is why he was charged with possession of stolen property. The police tried to charge him with operating a chop shop but for some reason, it was dropped.

Re: The latest on the Cobra Thief...Good News!
Was the one where the guy was caught selling parts at the flea market from a stolen cobra? Can't access the original thread that Jerry posted...
Re: The latest on the Cobra Thief...Good News!
I don't remember Mike selling Cobra parts at a flea market. He was selling parts on this site and others. Mike was living with a girl named Adria in Owasso by the way and I see you live in Owasso. My Cobra was found at Stone Canyon stripped cleaner than a bone. Too bad the original thread isn't active. It was quite entertaining and interesting.

Once a thief, always a thief...and he'll just learn how to be a better one during his time behind bars. I'm also thinking about an '11 or '12 GT 5.0, Stuart; I sold my '05 Mineral Grey. I think a lot of fun could be had with that 5.0 engine!

Re: The latest on the Cobra Thief...Good News!
David, unfortunately I think you are correct. Once you are a known car thief and a felon, who wants to hire that person? The only employers that will hire felons are the jobs that don't pay much. So the felons go back to what they know best...steal. I know Mike asked a trim carpenter for a job and when the trim carpenter found out that Mike was a car thief, he turned him down even though he could have used the help. Mike in my opinion has really pushed himself in a corner now. Nobody will hire him and if he gets caught stealing again, he will receive longer jail time. Too bad some people don't think of how their actions will affect their lives forever.
Yep...that 5.0 engine is really appealing. The 11 and 12 have more horsepower than the 04 Cobra. That is just amazing. I was hoping Ford would offer the GT in a grabber orange in 12 and they are....in a Boss. While I would love to have a grabber orange Boss, it is just costs too much. A black 11 or 12 looks really good too though.

If you are going that route, might as well go all the way with a Leguna Seca!

Put some 04 Cobra wheels on this car and I think we got something. What do you think Mike? Oh...that's right...he is jail right now.
