SCT X3 Tuner Question

Ok so I got my tuner and C&L Racer finally put in. I ordered the tuner with the brenspeed tune. Its very nice! The only question I have is the Traction Control. I cannot find out where to automatically have the TCS turned off as a default. I thought it was in the adjustable options but I can't find it. I hate turning the TCS off everytime I get in the car. I also hate when I am at the track and forget to turn the TCS off and try and do a burn out.... it just doesn't happen and I look like a noob. Its just best if I had that thing defaulted to off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If it's like the x2 the user can't change it as a default. You'll need to send it back to Brenspeed and have them make that an option you can control or take it to Kurtis.

However, once it's off it's off until you change it via the tuner. I wish Ford would make it default off .

Call Brent over at brenspeed and have him update the tune with the TC off option. He can e-mail it to you and then you can just upload it into your xcal via live load from your PC. It's somthing that has to be done in the tune you can't do it as a user option. Beware once it's off, it's off you cant turn it back on unless you go back to the other tune.

But! Tell him to make that an option you can control.... So, if you want to turn it on say, for the winter months, you can.

Sweet! I should have told him to have it turned off. Yeah during the winter months I do want a choice to turn it off and on. I was reading on the SCTFLASH.com and it says you can turn it off and so I thought I could. Thanks guys

You might be able to Josh...just keep messing with it...Call brent at Brenspeed and ask him if you can do it with the Tuner. I too am curious about this

Last year brenspeed would not put it on my tune due to liabilites.Let me know,but kurtis turned my off.

ive read somewhere that someone figured out how to switch the wiring so it was off and you could push it to turn it on... cant remember where... u might google it.

Do a search over on the TMS forum. It was a guy in there I think. Or it might have been over on modular fords I cant remember. I think it was TMS

Ok so heres the deal. I finally had some time to contact Brent. He said, like David, that he can turn it off in the tune, but once it is off it is off. You can't change it.... :cry:

I have been searching for that wire switching thing but have failed. I will continue looking...

Cant change it? As in with another tune...from a different vendor...my TC will be off still?

Nope it's in the tune commands. Once the tune is loaded it cannot be turned back on without loading another tune with the option turned back on.
