Aquarium....cool fish
Don't know how many this will interest but I'm easily amused.
So we have a cool little modern aquarium that we cant seem to keep the bottom clean (btw we didn't know anything about fish until recently) so we went to the pet store and bought some Albino Corey Cats that are bottom feeders. They are the most entertaining and crazy little bastards that you've ever seen. Not only do they play games with each other, like chasing around the plants, but they play hide and seek and even go nuts when we come home. They all come to whatever side of the glass your on as soon as you walk in, like a puppy running to the door. But the funniest thing might be that they like going to the surface for air. They will be playing dead, not even moving then shoot up as fast as possible, sometimes even coming out of the water to get an air bubble, then sink to the bottom and be lifeless again. They sleep in the trees, on the filter, and sometimes upside down, we are CONSTANTLY poking them with a net because we think they are dead when they are just "playing" as the pet store put it.
They don't clean for crap, totally defeated the purpose, and you have to buy three or more for them to stay happy (yes, they get lonely and depressed, as we learned when one of ours died) but they are so worth the money. They're $3.50 each usually at Pet Smart or Southern Ag.
Anyway just thought I'd share on my my cheap pleasures in-case any of you have aquariums. Also don't buy the Fluval Chi if you do get an aquarium, ours is hell to take care of and we lost TONS of fish trying to get it set up correctly. K, later.

Re: Aquarium....cool fish
Very cool. I used to have a fish tank but after the last fish took a toilet ride we decided not to do it anymore. Just too much time keeping it looking nice with everything else going on. Maybe one day I'll get a new tank and start up again.

We inherited ours when the kid left for the Navy, personally I was going to flush them and lie and tell him they died but I'm glad i didn't, they turned out kind of cool.
