Its the worst thing ever. It sends the wrong idea IMO to the financial institutions and the consumer that now thinks its ok to overspend and someone will bail you out. They should make it so that the money has to be paid back somehow. And the govt should have some say in the spending. If its my damn tax dollars that these institutions are using to pay off the debt they have incurred with too much realestate sitting idle because the buyers couldn't pay then I want a to be damn sure that some CEO isn't getting a ten million dollar bonus this year and so on. Which they will, and the greed just won't end. We saw the same thing with the oil speculators driving up the price of gas and noone put an end to that. I'm sick of it. Paul lets move to mexico.

soooo.... they are going to buy up all thses properties... I just want to know who pockets the money the govt will earn 5 years from now when they sell all these forclosed houses ... they payoff $20K for a house worth $100K.... 5 years from now they sell it for $120K... where does that $100K profit go??

I really didn't realize how much prices have gone up here until I saw this and did some online searches. It would be tough to find an affordable house here and feel good about the purchase. I've been here since 1992 and bought this house new in 1998. If I was looking now I would probably look abit further north although the commute to Tulsa via 169 may get nasty if and when they start to widen it to 6+ lanes. I paid $65.00 a sq ft for my house and I see most are between $75.00-$100.00 a sq ft now. I guess with all the commercial building and school system the demand for homes is still pretty good here but I have noticed that the homes in my neighborhood sit for months and its been that way for several years now. They sell but its not quick.

If we dont Bail out Lehman the others...WE WILL GO INTO A DEPRESSION. Period. We need to go ahead and YES bail them out with our tax money. Sucks...but its a must. Then we need to have Regulations...Regulations...and more Regulations...in order to avoid anything like this in the future.

If we dont go ahead with the $700 billion.... if we dont....foreign money will be taken out of the market and we will crash the stock market. Then its over...no recovery....people will start taking their money out of the market following the huge point drop..and then the domino effect will happen. Then we all are screwed....Big business's will fail, Layoffs, disaster.

again sucks...but Id rather bail out the idiots, and regulate the crap out of them so this wont happen again.

Well like I said in my original post. I understand completely why we have to do it. I do however hate the idea. Just because it is the nature of these greedy banks and bankers and ceo's so on so forth that got us here to begin with. If you think they will stop what they are/have been doing because they almost bit the dust after they have been bailed out. Think again. If anything I bet it gets worse. These fools will try to make as much money fast as they can so if this happens again they wont suffer. Who suffers is the middle man. You and me. Corporate bankruptcies of that magnitude will never hurt the top dogs it will only hurt the little guy.

I emailed Lynn Hernandez @ KMOD to play a song for us tomorrow on the Drive thru lunch tomorrow at noon to 1pm. I told him to plug the Bold Moves Mustang Club. Song: Foreigner: Rev on the Red Line

We'll see. Last time I did this he played my song so who knows!!!!

Update: Lynn responded to my email. Not sure he will play it tomorrow but it would be cool!!!

Wow, I was amazed Lynn Hernandez plugged Bold Moves Mustang Club and played my song today on KMOD. It was very cool. :party:

It was very cool today. Lynn Hernandez leads off with a Roy D. Nooner and then goes into his Typical 'Drive Thru Lunch' song and dance. This time just after the Roy D Mercer gig he said he received a very cool email and he was going to play 'The Outlaws". After one song he came back on and started out like: I got an email from Chris talking about how he quit smoking blah blah blah. Lynn has been talking about his 'difficulties' in quitting so I wrote him an email encouraging him on. Then after his smoking story and thanking me for the email he said: "Now a tune for the Bold Moves Mustang Club of Tulsa. Here's 'The Outlaws' Green Grass and High Tides forever".


That song is 9:49 minutes long so we rocked the air waves for almost 10 minutes. This tune came out in 1975. And the crowd goes wild!!!
