axle backs

So I was listening to all the axle back muffler online and i thought they all sounded weak I room it upon myself to buy two flow master 40 series classics after finding out how much custom exhaust shops wanted to rip me off on prices and installation I cut the turn pipe off the stocks and clamped them to the flows til I can get a good time to have a friend weld it up for me. I Baught some tips put then on to see how it would look and it was quiet almost like stock, think I should just run them tipless?

Should have bought magnaflows . . . .

I'm gonna go with something else later on I just couldn't stand the car being so silent and it was a quick easy weekend project

If you want more aggressive noise you'll want an O/R H or X pipe

I found one on Craigslist brand-new for 75 think i pick it up this weekend

Keep in mind if you don't have your rear O2 sensors turned off you will get a CEL. If you've got a tuner and aftermarket tunes they may be turned off already depending on who did your tunes. I know brenspeed turns theirs off in all their tune files.

Mil eliminators :) H-pipe would be good.

How hard do you guys think it would be to fit an xpipe for a 99-04 on the 06

You can get one from Brenspeed for about $120 shipped from Pypes. For the money it's way less than the hassle of trying to make one.

I looked at the xpipe think ill order it tomorrow but still deciding if I want to tip the mufflers I kinda like how it looks with no tips

With your blacked out look some tips that were powder coated black might be cool.

agreed with David, the black tips would be sweet...

where did you take the car that wanted to rip you off? B&M here in Owasso only wants like $20 for a weld-up job... they are across the street from the Library off Main Street...
