Re: Body Shop...
I have seen some really great work by Karroll Martin, and some really crappy work. Haven't heard any complaints from Accurate. I have also heard good things about Hourglass, but have no experience.

I use to work at Tulsa Collision Repair/Bill Knight Collision.. they did a good job and guarantee the work aslong as you own the vehicle.

Bill Knight! Man... I took my tires in there to have them mounted and the Redneck Inbred of a Tech bent my rim!

Re: Body Shop...
Some guy cut the sh** out of my car one day (no one probably remembers) and everyone said I was just CRAZY for not using his painter.
How about that guy?
I HAD to throw it in there, sorry Paul. I'm sure it will be beautiful again one day, sucks you cant make the trip!

Re: Body Shop...
Jimmy. I would use that guy. I've seen his work (Casi's hood0 and it's perfect... However he's really backlogged right now and not taking anymore clients. If you have a part, he will shoot it for you, but not a full project. The guy is pretty popular. I still you should check him out. I was very impressed with Casi's hood.
Mikey, thanks for the info. I'll call them and check em out.

Re: Body Shop...
I know, Ive heard good things about him and may use him soon. BUUUTTTT since I had to endure "razor-blade" comments for 6 months i figured id repay the favor!!!!! hahaha
Anyway mine is so bad now i need the whole front end done (rock chips) but i think i may just have the whole car done. I figure if I'm doing 1/3 of it or better then i may as well do it all!

I feel ya, Jimmy, I have the road rash on my car too, from following someone too close and various other road debris. I couldn't help it, I was mesmerized by the shiny blue butt . . . .

Re: Body Shop...
Actually, you asked for a paint guy, paul asked for a body shop. Two different things.
I am actually serious about this. There are guys out there that can paint well, but can not do prep or body work. There are also guys out there that can prep and do body work, but can't paint. You have to find a place that has the right guy at each spot and hope they are having a good day when they work on your car.

Re: Body Shop...
Jerry is right though, painting a part is different than painting a whole car. It's the difference between painting a rhino or just its toenails. And no amount of paint will fix a bad pedicure.

Or maybe Jerry's just right, cause he's my favorite . . .
Someone needs to go down and give Chris's a butt slap or a head rub . . . .

Re: Body Shop...
Im sorry I didnt put body shop, but damn, when you ask for a painter, they normally do their work at a BODY SHOP

Re: Body Shop...
Go ahead and praise me - I did indeed comment on your post!
And I agree with Jerry - just because a guy can paint a bumper doesn't mean he can take a dent out of a fender.
