Buying first mustang
Pretty sure I am about to buy my first mustang, and pretty excited about it.
Hope to close things out this week. Thinking I will be joining some of the events.

Re: Buying first mustang
Thanks for the welcome,
Well its still all premature, even after we settle on a price, they will still have to decide to let it go, its an awesome car and i understand how difficult it will be, kinda like seeing your kids off to college.
All i am gonna say at this time is that its a 96 Convertible GT, some people might know it, especially if you are from the owasso area. Car looks to be in great shape, and has been taken care of, very clean.
A bit apprehensive on buying an older car, but like i said its clean and been well maintained. Wanted a muscle car to play around with, but this is in great shape ready to drive now, looks and sounds great.

You aren't losing a daughter, you're gaining a money pit, rofl. All Mustangs are, they eat our paychecks in either parts or cosmetics.

Thought he was a prison guy like Danyal and I are? We're not crime fighters, were glorified adult babysitters!
Re: Buying first mustang
He is a fed guard, he just likes to say he's "fighting crime". And in a way, you guys do fight crime by keeping the bad guys put away.
He got a new one this week in the SHU, a screamer. I could hear the dude in the background.

Screamers are FUN ! The state is probably closing down my prison, no money, so they will probably "early release" a thousand or so inmates so double lock your doors now. And yeah we do try to keep em from escaping and prevent the flow of contraband blah blah blah i guess we do fight crime, in a messed up kind of way.

Re: Buying first mustang
I dont know if there is a way to verify a 1996 release, from what i have researched they didnt start tracking until 1999. I'm loving it, have discovered a few things that need some attention, o2 sensor, speedodometer is off, mileage odometer doesnt work, might be running a little rich, but i am still loving it.
