Full car paint job... How much?

hey guys i am looking to get my car totally repainted... the rear bumper has some serious scratches and the rest is just a standard 8 year old paint job with knicks here and there. Anybody know where i should get it done and about how much it would run?? thanks

2500-5000 depends on who you use and how complete you are. i.e. just paint it, or strip it all and jam the whole car....etc im sure someone on here knows a good painter.

yea thats what i figured... it definately needs to be stripped and repainted i definately dont want to half a** my mustang at all.

You really need to find two people. You need to find a good body man to do the body work, fill in and sand down chips and such. Then you need to find a good painter. They may not be one in the same. To get it done right I suggest you take it apart yourself and tape it off, take to the body man first then the paint guy. The put it all back together. It's a lot of work, but nothing you can't do in a couple of weekends with a little bit of help.

800-3000 maaco-a good paint man. it of course can go up from there. this is also the time to get stripes or something custom done

thanks for the input everyone... i just put smoked headlights and fog lights on with a black upper and lower billet grill... i also used VHT night shades to paint the tail lights. its lookin really good so its kind of a downer to see the chips and scratches etc... in the paint job

I agree totally on the chips and stuff,,, I hate seeing my front bumper every day... Stupid bugs!

I have the "rock chipped" from hell hood, so needs to be painted.

i'd have rock/mud guards if it was me. wouldn't care that it looked a bit off. just take them off for show
