the boss is back and its badder and meaner then ever. with 589 cubic inches and 900hp there is little that this mustang wont destroy! did i mention it makes wel over 850 ft/lbs? yeah look out viper look out corvette theres a new monster on the street!
best of all this engine fits into our mustangs with no modification needed to the engine bay or hood!

Pretty cool but the price tag and the bucking under 2500rpm would be a problem. That motor is basically a drag motor, not a street motor. Just remember, you could make a 4.6 or 5.4 with that much power also at a fraction of the cost of that motor with good street manners. It made 900hp on a engine dyno, so give or take its probably 750rwhp range.

Re: im in love, BOSS NINE MUSTANG!
Pretty cool. However if it was my money I would do like David L suggested and make it a little more streetable with close to the same HP numbers. Im thinking stroked and poked 5.4 with a super roots blower. I do like the idea of the bullet proof tranny. They didn't say if the rear was beefed but I would do some hardened axles and a better carrier with some serious stiffening. The usual assorment of rear end drive line components and front end enhancements. Roll cage and full subframes to handle the extra torque as well as 5 point harnesses and race seats. Of course the brakes would need a major overhaul as well. Then forget the Y rated tires I would drive all the time on some drag radials just so that you could put the power down. I doubt those Pirrelli tires will hold the torque generated by that monster

You do have a rather nice looking ride Hector. I liked it with all the "stuff" installed.

Re: im in love, BOSS NINE MUSTANG!
Eh..I will take my Mustang over that..But that one is able to drive on the street..Hmmm...
Anyways like most of you I would just build a 5.4 and be done with it..Maybe a nice KB 4.2..
