got to let the Boss go
Do to my student loans comming up next month, I'll be in a serious money crunch. I try to manipulate my bills and sell some things but it will not help in the long run. the only way i will make it is that i get rid of the mustang. I was thinking of just selling it off to pay the loan but I don't think anyone will give me the money for it. So I decied to strip her down back to stock and trade her in for a clunker. With that said, now I'll have all theses parts that I put on that I'll be selling soon. I'll keep you guys up to date in what i have off the car and up for sale soon. If anyone interseted in buying the car the way it is will all the goodies, $20,000 will pay off my loan. All she really needs is a better tune for the cams. She running rich.

Re: got to let the Boss go
He stopped by last week and told us about it. Unfortunately I don't think he is joking. He really does have to sell to get out from under the payment to pay for student loans. Truly sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Re: got to let the Boss go
thanks for you kind words people. I have the "For Sale" sign on the car now. I'm trying to drive around town a bit to show her off. I going to try and make some flyers to drop off at the local delerships and auto parts stores. I try Dead Horse to advertise my car on ther but I have to use this computer at my job. I don't have internet any more at home. I'm just trying to cut back. i even went to my last car show at GUTS Church. Good news... I just lost 5 lbs by not going out to eat like I use too. LOL!!! maybe its depression? What ever. Once I get the valve spring tool, thats when I'll start stripping her back to stock. I think i might need stock lower and upper controle arms. By the way... The cams might be sold already and a few other stuff.

Re: got to let the Boss go
Hector, Carmax buys cars. That might be an option. One of my friends did that and got a pretty fair price. He said it takes about 30 minutes to do and no pressure to sell. just some food for thought. They might be able to get you into to something else as well, who knows.

Re: got to let the Boss go
My next vehicle will have to be a truck (Ford or Dodge, extended cab) or a SUV. No big engines or 4x4, unless its a Jeep Cherokee.
Took some really nice pics of the car today at a park. Going to try and post it up maybe on here in my gallery if this computer at my job lets me. Hopefully might even get some other peeps to check out BMMC at the same time do this.
Amazinglly with the driving around I've been doing, I'm waisting about the same amount of gas with these Thumper Cams as I was with the stock cams.
I'll check out Carmax in B.A. Monday morning.

Re: got to let the Boss go
I took my 06 GT to Carmax.....waist of my time for me personally.
They offered me $14,000 I believe. Ended up selling it a few months later for $21,500 or so.

Re: got to let the Boss go
Bob Hurley..... Well one of the managers there said my car is worth $15,00 to them, no matter what i have done to it. he said best bet it to sell it myself. I will have a good change selling it for what i'm looking for. You know not every one can instll cams, pulley, or even change the oil in there car. I'm saving them labor cost. That my friend adds up for every little mod you do. I installed everthing on my car with the help and knowlege of my friends and the internet. I love BMMC.
