Re: HOT ROD CAMS?? Interesting.....
Interesting. Still a bit pricey though. If you consider the installation charge. I'm guessing it would put them into the 1200-1500 dollar range.

I would check with "FORDSVTPARTS" aka Steve with Tousley Ford on ModularFords to see if you can get them cheaper. They are a FRPP part so he may have them cheaper!
Did you listen to the clip on Youtube of those cams? They sound pretty nice! I wish I had the cheddar to put cams in my 4V.

Re: HOT ROD CAMS?? Interesting.....
Cams sound good but Jarrod is right especially if the car is NA. Those FRPP cams are supposed to be not-to-bad.

Re: HOT ROD CAMS?? Interesting.....
The first place was a site off of mod fords 700.00 but it never did come through said they were back ordered. So i just got them through ford. They list for 850.00 so I am figuring 750.00 through my acccount. Arron at Cooper is doing the install and I am going to call Brenspeed on a tune. Should be under 1200.00 for the whole thing.

Re: HOT ROD CAMS?? Interesting.....
holy crap. you all should be doing this install yourself. many people that have never touched the inside of a mod engine have done these cams. i'm looking forward to my comp cams spr stage II's with those heads. set the idle a little low just to get a little lopy sound from them while sitting at lights
