I think the DMV can run it but don't think they will give you the info since you are a known stalker, and obviously trying a sick attempt to break your restraining order. LOL

I believe that the DMV can give you information as to where it is registered. I doubt they can give out personal information on a vehicle, like name and address.

Re: running a vin number
I did this once with my first car (pre-concussion, with a Camaro) and all it took was the help of a friendly retired policeman abusing his powers through the system, I think we have one in the group .....cough......groupset......cough. Also i wonder if CARFAX (notice the "A") would tell you where it went? I know they get the LAST place sold, you may the the dealership in Chicago it went to and they may be more helpfull.
Re: running a vin number
Why exactly are you trying to track down the current owner Jared?

want to keep track of it. may buy it back eventually. we'll see. if i cant find it its alright, i'll get another stang. was planning on buying it back in a few years and turning it into a pure race car. would prolly be cheaper to just get an undamaged stang though.
btw this threads really old

It is pretty disgusting what he does when he's near my car . . . even by my standards.
