new wheels/tires WOOHOOOO!!!!

als o went to gregs shop to have my car dynoed today, lost some hp to the massive tires on the backside

put in the gt500 throttle body. low and behold we ran into a problem and with just from vmp on vacation gaah!

engine hangs for a few seconds after letting off the gas then slowly drops to idle. she's sitting in my garage now, going to let greg have a go at her. im sick of dealing with vmp, theyr just too far away.

i had the same issue with my gt500 throttle body. I was told that it just need to be tune for it to fix it. I just sold it. i ran out of cash to do anymore mods. SO SO SO sad.

......yours did the same thing...??? ....im wondering maybe vmp didnt update my tune or sent me my old set?

I was thinkin about installing that TB on my car.... the good thing is... I have been to my tuners house a few times!!! He isn't to far at all!!!

i havent been to carfx in a LONG LONG TIME! i have been talking to other peps. the novi-2000 is cheaper thena kenne bell and makes similar power. i really really want a kenne bell but i just can't do the price!

It may make similar hp on the top end but the tq curve won't even be close, the twin screw will blow it away down low. Honestly, I never see hardly any paxtons on s197s but see a shit ton of whipples and kb's, that should tell you something.
