What were your old rides. Vids or pics?
I was just wondering what did you use to drive in the past. if you have a pic or vids will be cool.
Here's 3 vids on my old 91 coupe.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1d8XzMT1pU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kWD9heNrX0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQlRYws8QQU
This is a pic in front of my old house in New Jersey with 2 of my 3 mustang i had back in 2001. I had a red 1989 4 cly coupe and a wild strawberry 1991 302 coupe. I also had a 1984 gt convertible but it was in the garage getting built at the time.
This one is when i was in the Marine Corp and I just painted the 91 coupe white and did the 5 lug conversion back in 2004.
This is the the Jeep Cherokee i had when i first got to Tulsa in 2006.
I don't have pics on my computer of my old 1984 Lincoln town car, 1982 Buick regal, 1968 mustang and my 1986 S-10 low rider pick up truck. i try to find them and scan them for up load.
Andrew..... I hope you like the videos of my coupe.

My first car. Yes it was a Chevy, but it had no bowtie logos on it whatsoever!! It was alot of fun and was in really good shape!
My first Mustang. Had a few minor mods, but didn't get to keep it long enough to really do what I wanted with it.

Was that an 81 Camaro? my buddy from high school had one in red. it was so freaking heavy. It was cool to work on and we did many trip to the junk yard to rebuild her. Gt hatch back mustangs always look nice in red.

Re: What were your old rides. Vids or pics?
Yeah, it was an '81! It had the "Air Induction" hood scoop and there were two flaps on the backside that would open up when you went WOT! It was pretty cool, but definately heavy! It had a few mods as well, if I remember right it had a 270 Comp cam, Weiand Stealth intake manifold, Carter 600 cfm carb, Hooker super comp headers and 2 chamber flowmasters. Ran a whopping 15.29 @ 90 mph the only time I ever had it at the dragstrip!
I remember you posting some vids of your white coupe awhile back. That was a very nice looking ride! Bet you wish you coudl have that one back now!

Here is my old 95 cobra, this is the state it was in probably 90% of the time after I put the supercharger on, broke!
This is my first mustang, 7-up 1991 lx, but not the car in the pic, I just borrowed since my car was totalled long time ago.
This was my first car back in college, of course, not the car in this pic but it was the same color and everything, called it "The hooptie", man the brothers loved that car. Fun as hell, it would hold like 7-8 people, party car!

Re: What were your old rides. Vids or pics?
This is my 2nd Mustang, but my 1st V8. My previous cars weren't worth taking pictures of, believe me.
1. 1974 Plymouth Valiant (slant 6) 4-door. My high school buddies loved it 'cause we could all fit in it.
2. 1968 AMC Rambler V6. Interestingly, the engine was the same size and HP as my '98 Mustang V6. Three-speed on the tree, and leaked like a sieve when it rained.
3. 1982 Toyota Tercel. Reliable transportation for the recent college grad. Got rid of it two years later for...
4. 1988 Nissan 200SX. Had a whopping 107 HP, but at least it was light and had a 5-speed manual.
5. 1984 Toyota Van. Got me back and forth to Tulsa during my 2nd college stint (parents had moved to Tulsa by then). You had to lift the driver's seat to get at the engine. It was ugly, but it still ran great even after 300K miles.
6. 1990 Pontiac Bonneville. Had the 3800 in it and it ran well. It got stolen from my apartment parking lot and stripped, so after the insurance co. totaled it, I got...
7. 1998 Mustang V6. My 1st Mustang. I now realize that it was horribly underpowered, but with the dual exhaust and Steeda shifter it was sure fun to drive.
8. 2000 Honda Accord V6. Kid on the way, so I had to get the practical family car. But this began my steady climb in HP with each successive car. 200 HP was more fun than the weak 150 HP in the Mustang.
9. 2003 Infiniti I35. Some of you guys saw this one when I ran it on the track a couple of times. 255 HP, and it ran 15.67 @ 96 MPH on a hot night -- not bad. BUT, I still wanted a...
10. 2009 Mustang GT/CS. 300 HP! At this rate, my next car will have to have around 350 HP.

Re: What were your old rides. Vids or pics?
I had an '83 GLX Vert that had the 3.8L V6. I got tired of that real quick and threw in a 351W... I miss that car. I let a friend borrow it and he ran the radiator dry and it locked up. He didn't tell me about it for 2 weeks and the car had gotten impounded. @ $90/day for 11 days + the $200 impound fee it wasn't worth getting out of the junk yard to rebuild. I see it running around town every now and then. Someone bought it and put a different motor in it. It makes me sad every time i do see it....good times were had in that car. (sorry no pics)

Re: What were your old rides. Vids or pics?
Here's my 1977 Trans Am that I purchased new that year. (Before "Smokey and The Bandit" came out.) I ordered it with a factory-installed CB radio - not many people knew that was an available option. Looks like a nice ride, but this was absolutely one of the worst cars I've ever owned (trumped only by a 1975 Ford Granada, which I received in my wife's dowry upon marriage). This Trans Am lives on, as the crankshaft broke in two in 1981 and I still use two of the pistons as bookends to this day. The front third of the crank is used as a paperweight. Literally.

Re: What were your old rides. Vids or pics?
My first Car was a 1992 Ford Explorer Sport. I loved it, 4.0 v-6 with a 5 speed manual. Really fun to drive.
Next, 1977 Ford F-150, used this as a hauler and for my lawn mowing business I had while in high school and college. I sold the Explorer and got my first Mustang, 1994 black GT coupe with cobra kit installed. Personalized plate was FAKESNK. My freshman year of college I found a 1994 GT conv. for sale. It was laser red metalliac with white interior and white top. I bought it with 19,000 miles on it. It is still in the family today and has roughly 36,000 miles on it. That same summer I won a Harley Davidson Softail duece. I owned it for 3 months then sold it for the cash. I purchased a 97 f-150 ext cab 4x4. sold it then got my 04 F-150 SCrew Lariat 4x4. Sold the 94 mustang conv to mom and Dad and got my 03 cobra. WOW, when I look back, thats a lot of purchases over the past 12 years. Will post pictures here later. Some I may not be able to find pics of.

wow... sounds like everyone had some type of nice ride back in the days or was just lucky to even have a car to get to point "a" to point"b". Also see where and how of the motor heads were born in the club. I learn how to work on old 76-83 Toyota's when i was a kid. Built 2 and sold them fast to get the 84 gt convertible. I might have a Polaroid of it some were.
