GOT REAR ENDED....View @ own risk...

I was sitting at a light at 71st and riverside dead stop and some old lady in a lexus suv(rx330) smashes into the back of me at atleaset 40mph i would say, pushed me into a volvo SUV infront of me and her hitch went right through my bumper and scratched my hood hoping its bent or something that will make it replacable but so far im looking at a gt500 front end and cali special rear bumper as of now my stock hood is just gonna be repaited(good cause i had rock chips anyway)
Good thing is me and everyone in the car was okay just sore for now but im moving to San Antonio in 2 weeks so my car needs to be done.

Any one have opinions on the gt500 front and cali rear or should i just go with cali front and rear?? I really like both only thing ill need with the gt500 i think is the lights now sure if deez could point me in the right direction im kinda in a hurrry but want it right....Right now its at Bodies by Bobby and im going by tomm to discuss more... let me know what you guys think i should do? Also David could that pinion seal could have broke from impact correct??? (cough cough)

I had a 2001 Lightning I wrecked in that same intersection year after I graduated, old guy ran a red a T-Boned me. Maybe we should avoid that whole area.............as a group?

im not sure bout damage to the frame im going by the body shop again today does anyone know what else i would need besides the headlights if i went with the gt500 front?

Man dude sorry to hear. I wonder if it will be totalled out? Jerrods car looked about as bad and they totalled it. Sucks. As far as the GT500 stuff just the headlights and a couple brackets I think is all you need.

I did the Cali rear bumper on my ride. it all came out to $1,100 i think with the pulling of the trunk and paint and parts. Them 1/4 panels on the rear is not going to be fun to fix for the body guy. You will never know what other damage is under or behind the bumpers and fenders.

yeah i just hope it all looks as good as before...really makes me mad how some old lady not paying attention could destroy my baby....

sorry man i just responded to your PM... the GT500 front end isn't cheep. it's going to cost you about 15 - $1,800 you need bumper head lights fog lights up and lower grills the inner wheel covers the core fome peace that goes behind the bumper and mounting brackets and a few other things. really only peace thats the same is the turning signals.. lol

k so everything that you said already needs to be replaced upper lower grill all id need to buy is the gt500 headlights and foglights? I heard you can you the stock fender liner you just have to make new holes. Ill see what the body shop says and see how much the price diff is in the cali than the gt500. Hopefully i can get the gt500 front and cali rear but i couldnt be mad with cali front and rears
