SAT 28FEB - Drag Strip

Hey everyone....

I was wondering if anyone wanted to join Chris (fast85) and I at the TRP? This will be one of the first and last times (this year) that Chris will be out to run. Some of you know that Chris is being deployed to Iraq. He will be leaving in March for a month of training, then back for a couple weeks... then off to Iraq....

He would love to have some club members out there to just bs with!

We plan on being there around 1.

Mah you know I will be there! I think all my brothers are going to be there too. Which includes another member and 3 crouch rockets.

I will definitely try and make it Dein! Not sure if I will run the car or not since my drag radials look shot! but I will def come to at least watch!

What do you say guys? Want to send off a fellow club member the right way...hes serving our country!!!

Damn I would love to do this but Andrew is home for the weekend and I'm not sure if he wants to spend the whole day at the drag strip. If he does I'll be there.

I will try to make it as well. I will need to get my drag radials mounted but I am going to try and make it.

Don't have anything else planned at the moment, but of course I need to see what the boss has planned. Long range weather forecast says clear and maybe up to 60. Sounds like a good plan. I need to see if I can get my car into the 12's completely stock before I start messin with it.

I'm in. Sounds like fun.

Might be there to watch, depending on what boss lady says.

I've been looking forward to a day at TRP again. Not that I've gotten any better at the 1320' in the intervening 2-1/2 years Would have gone to Thunder Valley yesterday but don't really like the crowd that hangs there.........

But I've got an annual HOA meeting at the lake that I can't get out of I'll have to catch you all next time. (still planning on Hallett 3/21 though)

I might be there to watch. I still dont have wheels for the drag radials. And not sure i want to watch the eleanor scoops fly off down the track before i have time to fix them.

i once witnessed this on my own while going down the highway. i looked back in time to see my window scoops ricochet off of my trunk lid. scratched the scoop to hell plus it left a nice sized dent in the trunk. mother f%$@er!!!

going to show up round 11am get yearly tech, strap on the slicks and hopefully roll into the 10s!

Dont forget your helmet. Oh and my wife sells life insurence if your interested befor you go down the track.

got the helmet and all my safety gear, my wifes mom already sold us some insurance
