Driveshafts? Empty Driveshafts?

Post by DEEZ-67 2/10/2009, 3:20 pm

I have found a Saleen extrem driveshaft for sale. Does anyone know if this will bolt up to a 5-speed GT. He said the flange is for a t-56.

should I be looking for an aftermarket DS or is this a good buy for $400 shipped

When I bought my drive shaft (ROUSH/DYNATECH) I was told by ford that thay all were the same for 05 and up auto's and 5 speed. I would think the saleen uses the same flange. Mine bolted right up it is an auto.Hope this helps, good price.

a T-56 is a 6speed...so not sure if it will bolt right up.

5 speed and auto yes are the same.

not sure if it will make you feel better about the purchase, but a guy on another site uses an aluminum ds. he had it with his stock 5speed and then upgraded to the 6060 and it bolted right up to that also.
