You'll need Royal Purple gear lube and an install kit is a good idea. Probably won't need it, but if you do...

I take it Benji is doing the install??

Maybe a pinion bearing just in case it gets damaged taking it off.

Go with what David suggested...get the pinion bearing just in case...the install kit isnt really necessary...your car ONLY HAS 2000 MILES ON IT!!!

Royal Purple is the way to go for the fluid....anyone remember the vicosity?? I know what stock suggests...but didnt we get something different?

I used the Max Gear stuff from Royal Purple in mine. You can get it at pep boys. You need 2 1/2 bottles. I think the weight was 75W140. It already has the friction modifier added in so you don't have to buy it as well.

I bought 4.10 gears off ebay for 149.00 and had them installed at Grand Prairie Ford. I was going to have Benji do it but the timing didn't work out. Benji told me that I could just buy the gears and bring 250 bucks to cover the rest. I believe it was 200 for labor and then 50.00 for those misc parts you are mentioning.

You know to not buy the ford racing gears made by Motive? I didn't till I started researching it. My gears sound the same as before with no noise at all. Can' t recall the speedo calibration but I asked about that as well.

410's are the way you want to go if you have a stick car. I'm going to switch to 430's here real soon. If you go 373 with a stick car you wont notice much difference over stock. Especially if your car came with 355s from the factory.

I think the 430s I plan to switch to will be perfectly docile. I forsee no issues. If it was a total track car NA I would do 456 gears.

FRP has an "install kit". It should include a couple of crush sleeves, a new pinion seal, (maybe a new bearing....can't remember?)

I just put 3.73's in mine (GT500's come with the 3.31's stock) and bought the FRP gears. No problem with noise here (it's all a matter of proper install, correct pinion depth, right gear patterns). The 3.73's are a significant change from 3.31's and with the TR6060 gearing I'm not sure I would have liked the 4.10's. I am not running 20" rims though, bad for road racing...... itsraining

I took the opportunity to install a TruTrac diff at the same time too. So we had to make sure it was properly shimmed as well.

Yeah in the FI situation the 373 is the way to go unless your drag racing all the time.

I don't know to many people on here running 4.10 with 20in. Most have 18 in wheels. Jerry was kidding about the 20in. 4.10 is perfect for our manuals and even with yours being sc I think 4.10 would be fine but as I stated above for his auto 3.73 or 3.90 would be suficient.

I have 4.10 gears with with 20 inch rims on a Whipple charged 06 mustang. I was told that with the 20 inch rim it would be more like 3.90's but that was just what I was told. My 1 gear is just for show and to get the car rolling. If I would nail it I would be on the redline before being able to shift.

I had gears installed when the SC was installed so I cant really tell you the improvement with just adding gears. This is the first car I have owned that really demanded an above average driver to get the most out of. When your car takes 9 seconds to get to 60 mph the timing is not that big of deal.

You could always go back to a 3.73 gearing for your whipple powered beast....thost 20 rims dont allow from much of a sidewall for traction

i would personally have 4.10's for an auto also. considering the plan i have for my car the 4.10's might not even be enough gear, but if it ends up not working i'll change it later. i doubt it though. with the 6 speed i'll be getting some killer mileage on the highway with the gears. can't wait to get back and get started on this thing.
