I thought about this too. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing. In other words does it work and work well. I don't want to waste the money if it won't look like new.

As the resident detail expert, I have not used. How about this. I will buy a sample kit and we can try it out on Andrews mustang. If it works, I have an added value to my detailing services, if not, then we can look at replacing the headlights. For $40, its worth a shot just to satisfy my curiosity.

Give me a few weeks and will get some in. I'm curious as to how well it works. From the pictures and the videos, looks to work well, but I'm still skeptical

David, Here are the quarter window molding covers. Several places sell them online but these should solve the window problems without having to replace them.

I have done a few headlights with the buffer and and you can get the yellow off of the stockers.

i have wet sanded them before with 1000 to 1200 grit sand paper (wet) then buffed them out with a good polish. it came out ok. I went a head and bought them Diamond euro clear head lights a few months later after i repainted the car.

Those might do the trick. I wonder how well they stay in place? Much cheaper than replacing the existing ones for sure.

The magazines have used them repeatedly on different projects so they must do pretty well or they would not keep using them.. Thats my thinking at least..

David.. Here is the 86GT nose we were talking about earlier. Its really dirty but only has one spot that needs attention and that is an easy fix with a little epoxy and a piece of sand paper. I have a front bumper, the turn signals, head light parts and the bracket for the fog lights. I am pretty confident we can find some useable fog lights also.

I have a hood too but someone cut it and put a SVO scoop on it offset to the passenger side SVO stylee. Its yours if you want it but it needs a little work before it can be painted. Also it could be cut again and the scoop centered on it which would look pretty good but I think a factory hood might be a better choice and put the sticker on it lik ea 85-86GT.. Your choice though..

Anyone.. I cant give this one away bcause I had to spend some cash on it but I will let it go for half price.. Also we have the cobra rear spoiler that I will throw in with it..

I do have some lenses for 87-93 tail lights. As far as the front goes. What do you think about the moulding on the sides matching up with the existing belt moulding? I don't want the thing to look all frankenstein.

I believe I have the front moldings to match up with it.. That would just leave the fenders and doors but that will not be a problem.. I have seen several done like that and it looks normal. They are a pretty close match anyway..

Jerry and I were looking at that. The molding looks to be a little different. I wonder how much matching molding would be? maybe it would be easier to take the molding off when painting then reinstall matching molding.

Even if we anted to replace all of the molding I have most of it but I think if we put the parts on in front of the tires it wil look normal..

them molding will be warped from pulling them off. I had an 84 gt Conv. and i did a new nose and body conversion on it. I had a hard time double taping them on. I just wouldn't stay flat on the car.
