4.6LPoppy......New Here. Hi!

Well, some of you guys invited me to come aboard. I've heard of, and met, some of you. Kurtis has told me about some more of you (he he).

I have a 2000GT so I don't know whether I belong here or not. I thought this was a 2005 and > group. But, I guess you'll tell me.

Im a grandpa. Loved cars in high school. Went to college...married....raised six kids.....sent them along....starting grandkids.....time to get back to the cars. I've owned two GTs, 1 Stage 2 Roush, and 1 Cobra......all New Edge types. My current car is a 2000 silver GT, grandma stock looking except for Saleen wheels and 295's on the back. It has only 18K miles, so it's still kind of good smelling inside. I have a Teksid aluminum Cobra block with Cobra crank and forged internals, ported/polished PI heads with springs/titanium retianers and Stage 2 blower cams. Bullit intake, AFM Powerpipe feeding a Procharger P1SC making about 13lbs of boost, ATI 3-core intercooler with NOS fogger, MSD ignition, Aeromotive fuel fed by '03-04 Cobra fuel pump/tank, aluminum flywheel, TKO600 transmission, welded subframes, BBK long tubes, BBK OR H-pipe, Borla catback exhaust, UPR upper/lower control arms, 3.73 rear end with MAC rear girdle. I run 10.5/15/26 MT ET Streets at the strip on Jeep alloy wheels (not really into looks at the strip).

I started putting in a line lock today (if I can figure it out) so I can do a little better on the launch. My best to date (just now doing the cams, powerpipe, flywheel, TKO, springs, etc.) is 12.09/117 with a 1.70 60'.

I'm hoping to be out there in April and really hoping to get well down into the 11's. We'll see! Next challenge is to kidnap Kurtis and get him to do his magic tune. I'll get a pic and sig when it's not so late at night. See you guys!

Oh, if you ever pull up next to a Redfire Roush in Owasso, just take it easy on me. Sounds like your Stang has a nice gitty up and go!!!!

Hey Mike!! WELCOME!! I Met you along with David at the track last year... very nice car!! I saw you run a couple of times.....very fast car!!

As for the line locks....those should deffinetly give you more consistancy in the burnout box.

Looking forward to seeing your ride...we do have TNT club events, I would love to see your car run at the track...117MPH is good for DEEP 11s!!.

Don't worry about that. I gave up the street stuff in (after) high school. Also, sometimes it can be embarrassing. The last time I "goosed" it on the street, I blew a blower pipe off and it sounded like a John
Deere as is sputtered to a stop.

Yeah, a Bullitt intake. It looks alot different already. It's over at Archangel and we are just about finished (again). Put in a TKO600 tranny, aluminum flywheel, oversize intake valves, blower cams, AFM Powerpipe, Accufab single blade throttle body (bigger than the big one..........1700cfm) and made the MAF blow thru instead of draw thru. Also adding twin GT40 fuel pumps (2x255lph) and Fore Precision fuel hat. Then Kurtis needs to do his magic to it on the dyno. Hope to have it out soon! (NOS will wait to be activated until we have the motor going good and some runs on it.)
