Just throwing this out there...
I think it would be really awesome for me to com up there for tech day, but seeing as how I live in Yukon it probably wont happen that much... what would you guys think of putting in a how to section? Just throwing it out there. I can do a few for the stereo and overall 12v part of it if you need me too... let me know

I know what you mean about being far away from Tulsa, most of the time Im up in Stillwater. There isnt really crap for cars up there other than a handful. Not too far away from the City though, Ill be up there Friday.

Re: Just throwing this out there...
probably not for awhile. 1- i dont have my license yet. 2- i dont really have any intintion in running it while its stock. so it will probably be awhile before i get her out to the track. and i dont plan on doing much to it anyways, so i know i probably wont beable to ever manage a mid 13's. im sure its a mid to high 14's how it sits. idk. maybe when i get my license, i might jus go out there once or twice to see what i can get it to do...
it really depends on how long i plan on keeping it. i plan on trading it for a nice fox notchback in the future. so i dont really know. if i do any performance mods, it would be plain. shifter, CAI, exhaust, maybe gears. etc... if i keep this car for awhile, i will more than likely make it look baddazz more than go-fast mods...

Re: Just throwing this out there...
Ya they arent much for power lol. But to each his own, Im not an appearance person, I would rather put my money into making it go fast. The only appearance mod I have done is my billet bullet fuel door. Gears will be the best bang for the buck as you probably already know. I think getting a fox would be the best plan though, those cars can be really nasty!

Somewhere in the 12's and I would be happy after I get my gears done. If I spray it then low 11's.

to get into the 9's you have to make sure you take out your headlight, and duct tape the end of a trumpet on there so the air will get to your motor. too bad you dont have a front wheel drive car, the ricer wing would work alot better for aerodynamics. oh and you might go buy you a big ol' fat tailpipe, about the size of a coffee can. it will help the air flow through the exhaust. LOL

hmm... what all do you have done to your car? the sn95's take ALOT of work to get into the 12's. remember your engine is a 2v SOHC.

Re: Just throwing this out there...
If you added hubcap wheels with no hubcaps it is the same thing as getting a set of welds or something similar. Also a nos sticker with no nitrous still adds 75hp. Lastly, underbody neons, although they dont add much hp, they do add to the bling factor and aerodynamics running down the track. Its been proven.

Oh boy here goes the list. But I still need suspension stuff so that is what will be holding me back.
Brand new romeo block, probe rotating assembly with a 4.5cc dish piston yielding 10.7:1 compression, FoxLake stage II heads, Crane cams (228/234 .550/.550 on 112 lsa), 16lb flywheel, Spec stage 3 clutch, Steeda Tri-ax shifter, Sub frames (idk if they are factory or not), MAC longtubes, Dr Gas x pipe (not installed) and probably MAC pro dumps, underdrive pulleys, trickflow plenum, Mac 75mm t/b, JLT cold air intake, 4.10's have but not installed, eibach springs, 315 nitto drag radials, and that might be it.

good luck with traction with those Nitto's. everyone has been having problems with those.

Re: Just throwing this out there...
Ya no crap! But they are all that I can afford and they will actually hook a little on the street. Any other tire I will just blow up. Plus we all know you have to be able to lay it down anytime, anywhere.
If the funds come I might put something stickier on my other two 17x9's but I doubt it. I still have to buy my mufflers and injectors.

Re: Just throwing this out there...
why are you buying new mufflers? wats do you have on it? SLP?
Guest- Guest
Re: Just throwing this out there...
I am running open headers right now. I thought about buying some SLP's and getting them dumped, but I might just get the MAC pro-dumps. They sound really good and are obnoxiously loud.
I had weld in flowmasters but just cut the catback off because I didnt have a midpipe.

Re: Just throwing this out there...
YA probable true. I just like being obnoxiously loud. I piss off old ladys on cell phones all the time. I had a grandma honking at me the other day, she should have just turned her hearing aid down.

Re: Just throwing this out there...
Jeremy your car would probably run better with a little back pressure from an exhaust system. Plus you wont attract Johnnie law at every blip of the throttle.
