A$$ HATS

First time to take my car out in months,turn my back for forty minutes and some jackass keys my car, what in the hell makes people do this ....arrghhh. Looks like a bunch of paint work in my future. Will never leave my car unattended again!!

Anybody have any recommendations on a high quality paint shop. Last couple guys I used I was dissapointed with.

Hate to hear this Rick! Some people have no respect, they see a nice car and because they will never be able to own one (because their too busy getting high or drunk), they feel they have to vandalize it.

Where was this? How bad is it?

As far as the paint shop, I havent needed one in a long time so I am no help there.

Damn Rick this sucks. It's amazing what people will do. There is definitely a element of society that just can't stand for anyone to have something that they cant. And what's sad is those poeple could have the same nice things as others but choose not to. They choose to live a life that keeps them in a bubble they just can't break. To make matters worse we have a president who is stirring up the class warfare pot proclaiming to the dumb masses that it's ok to be envious and it's not right that anyone should be able to have more than someone else. Afterall you don't need to work for a living we just need to join together and vote to keep me in office so I can take what's rightfully yours away from those that work hard to achieve something and give it to you. You who don't work hard, spend your time keying cars and getting into trouble, staying home collecting walefare with your 15 kids and living off the backs of hard working people. What the Hell has happened to this country? Sorry for the Rant Rick but this struck a chord in me. Nothing worse than working hard for something just to have some scum bag destroy it just because they're jealous or envious. Makes me sick.

No $hit I am so pissed I just went out and looked it again makes me want to puke. My car has never even been driven in the rain. I have busted my ass for twenty years, built my company from nothing with nothing ,then reward myself and then this ahole who probably thinks ohh look at this guy with the silver spoon in his mouth, he has no idea that while he is sleeping I am working twenty hours a day.

I feel your pain man. Just makes me sick. And what's worse is it could have been any of us. Really makes you wish you could catch them in the act for a little street justice.

Damn, sorry to hear. I had my truck spray painted in high school. Really pisses you off and what sucks is you probably will never know who did it.

As for paint I have never used anyone, but my friend just got done using Karoll Martin on 58th/Mingo. He was really impressed with them and their work.

I'm sorry to hear this. I can't leave mine alone anywhere we go (which isn't many places). I chalked it up to my own paranoia but apparently it's a justified fear. Hope you get it fixed without any more disappointments.

In four years of owning this car it might be the second or third time that I have left it in a lot and went in someplace to eat.

Sure does. This has happened to me twice now although not quite that heinous.

I've always thought about keeping a webcam running in my car. I wonder if you can leave an iphone in there with a security cam program or something. Catch those MF's, either find em and beat their ass, turn it over to the cops...or both.

Chris, do they have an oven big enough for a front bumper clip and hood? I gotta get my front bumper, hood, mirrors, and my roof paint work knocked out soon....




Rick sorry to hear. My only suggestion would be: a two way paging alarm with proximity sensor, but even then, that won't stop someone from wanting to get shot by doing something stupid. That will just alert you someone is messing with your car....

Don't want to kill them, just knee cap them and cripple them for life.....

45 cal hollows can be a tad messy....

Well checked around and found someone that understands the importance of doing a good job. The little prick who keyed me only cost me 1500.00, hope he got that that much enjoyment out of it.

Let us know how the paint turns out Rick, never know....others might need his expertise. Hope it all works out.

Talked to a couple of different guys did not get the answers I was looking for, Mike at pinnacle swears by this guy, went and talked to him and expressed my anal concerns with my car and he had all the right answers without prodding, is he cheap probably not but he was not over the top either. He is pulling quarters glass, basically gonna shoot left side minus the door,hit the quarter and pillar plus the fender bury all paint lines at moldings,plus gonna pull my bumpers and shoot them so they match again,,,, for a little while anyway. This was a all cash price.

Sounds like he is detailed oriented. Hopefully the final product is to your liking

Really sorry to hear this. It's sad how some people have such little respect for the property of others. From the sound of it you may have already found a good paint place but I've recently had some good luck with Hourglass collision. My mom got a nasty door ding ($1200) on her new X5 (down to bare metal) and they did a fantastic job. Easy to deal with as well. Hope you get it fixed up the way it should be soon.

wow Rick, sorry to hear! Friend of mine brought his out of the garage to warm up, ran back inside real quick and came out and someone had egged people.

not quite as bad as yours, but still frustrating.
