Re: who i need to talk to about a cruise idea???
I think it would be a neat tribute to Ford if we was to contact about 5 to 7 Ford Dealerships and make a stop and go to their Dealerships. Of course we need to make sure Bob Hurley Ford doesn't see a problem with this being that his dealership is our Sponsor. I was thinking start around 9 or 10 and hit someplace like the Ford Dealership in Miami or Vinita hit Pryor then Claremore, one or two in tulsa and finish at Bob Hurley at around 6 pm for a small show till they close. Of course times and the amount of stops could be adjusted. What do you think?

Might be fun. I'll start looking at how many dealers there are and see what kind of route can be made. I'm sure this is doable.

i came up with at least five alone in Tulsa, one in Claremore, one in Pryor, Vinita and Miami. There are other towns like Tahliquah , Bistow etc......

Re: who i need to talk to about a cruise idea???
well youre on the right track. some of the cool kids are on board.
Re: who i need to talk to about a cruise idea???
I'd say Bob Hurley, Jack Kissee (claremore), Green Country Ford (Vinita), North Point (Pryor), Doenges (BartlesVille), Stuteville Ford (Tahlequah).
Not in that order though. But could be a good cruise around the skirts of green country.

Lee, I will do what ever everyone else does, but i would think traveling that big of a distance and telling the dealerships we are coming wouldn't allow for us to stay at any of the dealerships for very long. Bville, to Vinita to Tahlequah and stops in between would push us for time. Travel time alone would take up at least 4 hours. Just a thought.

Ya. We will have to look at not only where the dealers are located but the scenery. Most folks would prefer a nice route instead of just all highway. I'll dive into this some more in the next day or two.

Re: who i need to talk to about a cruise idea???
Kevin what are your thoughts for us to do while we are at these dealerships? Guess im not totally following.
Re: who i need to talk to about a cruise idea???
I have heard from other clubs that have done something simular, and the dealerships would be waiting on them and have a mini show. A couple of those dealerships actually had small door prices waiting on the club members. I think we should pick 4 to 6 dealerships and tell them a time to expect us and let them know, "IF" they want us to come, we could stay for an hour or two. But I think we need to give Bob Hurley the majority of time on their lot. This is if the dealerships will even want us to make a showing at their lot.

Why dont we just do the talimena cruise? I probably wont have a ford by the time you do this, but i dont see the fun in stopping at a bunch of ford dealers. Just my opinion, hope it doesnt offend others.
You could always stop at the fors stores on the way to Talimena? I know sallisaw ford is right on the way.

My thoughts only reflect something that this club hasn't done. I'm sure Talimena would be fun also. Just trying to add something different to a cruise. I will do whatever the club decides. Makes me no difference. I just want to see all the cars and meet some new friends.

Kevin... Yep still sounds like a good cruise. We are kinda married to BHF. Yes. Love the positive attitude though! We want and promote new ideas.

that's why i said we need to finish at BHF and give them the most time. Evening MINI MEET. But we really need to make sure BHF is cool with us stopping at other dealerships during the day.
