Deep Dish Bullitts on the Rear
Ok.. Since I have one rear wheel that doesnt match perfect right now I think this is what I want to do. I am going to some time down the road buy two 17x10.5" Bullitts for the rear and put some bigger tires on them. This is a picture of the wheels. The one on the right is obviously the deep one. I also stuck a couple of pictures of ones with the deep bullits. They look great on the rear. Now all I have to do is perfect my money shitting techniques. :mooning2:

Those cars just look great (mean, aggresive) with massive meats on the rear.

Re: Deep Dish Bullitts on the Rear
My wing is coming off soon and I am going to put all the bullitt garb on it since I REALLY wanted the bullitt I was trying to buy before I got this car.

I am going to use the black push in pieces that are made to hold interior panels in place. You can get all kinds at Orielly. i am going to find ones that are black and as smooth as possible and seal them with some black rtv. I should be able to make it look good to where it is only noticable from close up but driving by you would never know.

Re: Deep Dish Bullitts on the Rear
I think I will stick with the plugs. I saw one like this and it was hardly noticable and if someone did notice it would look more like a factory delete similar to the antenna delete on the R code cars how they have a black plastic block off in the hole rather than no hole at all.

Re: Deep Dish Bullitts on the Rear
I say buy a new trunk and paint it. Dont half *ss it. Just kidding. the pluggs should work.

Re: Deep Dish Bullitts on the Rear
I say just buy a bullett and drill the trunk and THEN use the plugs your talkin about
Re: Deep Dish Bullitts on the Rear
I say shut up if you dont have a mustang or I will drill some holes in that Chebby with my new Hilti drill.. I bet I can put holes right in that engine block without even breaking a sweat.

Re: Deep Dish Bullitts on the Rear
sad part is.... it will go another 100,000 miles with the holes......
Re: Deep Dish Bullitts on the Rear
You could also go to the junkyard and buy a trunklid off of a v6 with no spoiler...

That creates two problems... One is finding a clean enough black v6 without a wing and if you look, most all 99-04 V6's have wings on them. Then I dont have the holes to pop the wing back on any time I want and I have to store the removed trunk lid.. I am ok with the plugs..
