When I was at Chevy we had a vette that had never had the pre-delivery inspection done, sat about 15 years. Someone bought it, shipped it to us to ready it to drive and when we got it (always garage kept BTW) that white protect paper had sucked all of the moisture out of the paint and ruined the car. Also the belts, hoses, and tires were trash, the leather and dash were cracked and dry-rotted from never being wiped down or protected.

It was a good thought but ended up kind of sad, cost the owner a fortune.

Looks like that tape was peeled off and slapped back on. I work at Nissan and none of our PDIs look that sloppy. Maybe that's just how they did it back in 2000.

that car was in MM&FF a few years back. i remember the 16 miles. didnt have all of the protective tape on it.
