Saw this on a few other forums, and it's neat to see what other people are doing to their homes, and it helps to give others ideas based off what you have done. I know a lot of us bought new homes within the last year, so let's share ideas on what we have done to improve/degrade them.

So, what have you done lately?

Not doing much of anything to mine because the wife is planning on buying a new house. Problem is, she's been looking for 3 years and so far, nada!

isn't a NEW house something you could decide how it's built. guess that costs way more though

If it's taken her 3 years of looking for a house, consider how long it would take to decide on doorknobs, faucets, colors, drapes, etc?

Thinking of carpeting the garage in an attempt to reduce the dust. Hopefully the carpet will catch the dust then just run the vacuum. Also, it might keep her (The Roush) feet warm in the winter.

I know Aaron has a thread about his new house project that he did this to. It's one of my plans before the cars move in full time. Trish says to wait, but I want to do it before any oil gets on the ground, since it can be a pain after.

Gonna be an oil and coolant mess when I install my cam, would like the coating down before that.

definitely want to put it down before you start using it. give her some paint and put oil all over the wall and tell her "there you go see if you can get it to stick."

You no like my carpet idea? You see I figure carpet because I am not working on my car for at least 6 years. That warranty thingy is a blessing. I just need a nice place to store her.

Vandy,

I love this site, you should see some of these guys garages. Anyways here is the link to the flooring section, some good info there.

There is also a garage section that I like to check out every once in a while to get ideas. Although I dont have the coin some of these "ballers" have
