Still looking for a truck.
So I finally actually have some cash and am looking for a truck for real. Right now I am considering this: http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/2572332488.html but if anyone finds any old fords in the 1970-early 90s era let me know. I'm looking for a 4x4 in the under $3500 price range. The body doesn't need to be great but i want it to run strong. If y'all see anything around let me know.

Re: Still looking for a truck.
I could drive that far if you find something really good. Would prefer in the 50-60 mi or less range, but the better the deal the further I'll drive :)

Here is a link to a nice 1970 F Series. If you look around this website there are a lot of trucks meeting the 1970's - early 1990's era. This site is awesome.

Re: Still looking for a truck.
Emailed this guy tonight: http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/2580825262.html Waiting to hear the detail and get better pics. Could be a strong possibility. My only hesitation is the high mileage.

Re: Still looking for a truck.
if he really does have all maintenance records go for it. personally i'd rather hold out for a 79 or later. they had solid axles and look better.

Re: Still looking for a truck.
I agree with you for sure on the looks. I just can't decid which I value more, the looks or the practicality of it being fuel injected.

Re: Still looking for a truck.
Went and looked at it yesterday. It runs and shifts perfect. The interior is really sharp. The outside has some dents and a little rust but overall not too bad. And he basically said he would be readily willing to negotiate down on the price. Seriously considering making an offer today.
