Ugh HELP Please...
About 2 months ago I ran into a problem, my engine light came on, the car was idling really low, Jarrod told me what the codes meant and to clean the MAF. That didn't fix it so I decided to deal with it.
Yesterday I decided to go ahead and clean the throttle body and MAF again since I was cleaning my filter anyways. So I did all that, didn't put too much oil on the filter this time. Went in cleared the codes reinstalled the tune and started her up. That's when it happened... BOOM! No I'm just kidding let the filter dry and everything and put everything back on tight no leaks with the joints on the CAI. So I started it up and it seemed to be working how it should but driving today it is constantly changing speed at idle. If I'm sitting there it may idle at 1000 just fine but sometimes it just keeps bogging down to like 400 and then spikes back up to like 600 and just keeps doing that. Also when I push the clutch in it randomly revs a little, I notice it mostly when I turn in to like a parking lot. I remember when I was getting my rear end fixed he checked the lights and said it could be a dirty MAF or some solenoid thing.
So can anyone tell me what they might think it is? And if its something thats not easily fixed where to take it because I don't wanna get overcharged again.

TPS? IAC? Vacuum Leak?
Only a 200 rpm difference at idle may just be the heat. If it were spiking to 1200 then down to 400, that would be different.

Mine is doing weird stuff now too, heat i think. When i hit the clutch at a stoplight she idles down to about 500-600 and stalls a bit, then goes up to about 1200 and mellows out. I'd say wait now a day with descent temps and drive her, before you go drastic on repairs, that's what were doing. just my .02

Re: Ugh HELP Please...
my cars not a good reference due to how many parts it has on it and the fact that im running a race tune in the heat(lots of fuel=cooler temps) but im idling 750-800 almost constantly.

Re: Ugh HELP Please...
Well driving to church this morning it hit me, crap I didnt connect that back... I didn't put the vacuum hose back on... So I get to church pop the hood sure enough there it is sittin there so I put it back on, also apparently I didn't put one of the bands on tight enough because the intake had seperated... Yeah next time I need to slow down and take my time. I blame the heat though...

Yeah my computer went down and I've just been super busy trying to get good enough to make the golf team. Plus shoot that rear end took forever to get done the second time so I was without a mustang to even talk about lol.
