Those that are going to the cruise tonight, it looks like we are in for a bit of weather.

We are as of this moment postponing the meet time to 5:00-5:30 at the Maybee Center to see if this thing blows through.

Monitor this section for any updates as it may change if the weather pushes past or re-directs

It was supposed to clear out late this morning, according to the stupid forecasters

Well, I'm leaving work soon, so I'll be at home hangin waitin if anyone wants to join. My wife will still be at work so half my garage will be open for someone to come over and hang and wait if someone wants. I may drink a beer or whatnot. I live right down the road from that old guy that has the red/white GT500, by 81st and Harvard

it was sprinkling at 51st and memorial a few minutes ago. nothing bad. just enough to fuck up your clean car though

Wasn't too bad of a night. Completely pissed that we had no police escort...took the whole fun out of it. Whatever genius decided that should be fired.

Yea was fun, though we got separated little by little throughout the night. Lost you guys at a turn and never saw you again.

Lots of cars, was lots of fun. Never saw Blair again after the cruise started, figured he parked, found the closet bar, and settled in for the night... LOL...

The cruise itself was pathetic, and the fact that they made you show a badge to get "in" was stupid if they werent even going to give everyone an escort there. Had a great time though, thanks again Mike for letting me ride in the new snake!

No escorts this year? What the? Seems like the cruise in the last two years has sucked a$$.

although not well organized, at least last year there was some police blocking off intersections

Yup just a bunch of us getting caught at lights...split up...random trucks and cars mixed in with our fords getting in the way

Wish I could of finnished the cruise. But the car needs a tune bad. It was good seeing everyone again. The car should be a beast once all said and done.

I was stuck at work once again. Short handed now since one guy on nights quit yesterday. At least I can get out on the weekend.

No police escort?? That was probably TPD's decision; claiming they were short on manpower. And as a result, participation from out-of-towners in future Shelby meets declines 40% or so, with associated declines in local spending due to less tourists - which results in even less sales taxes collected by the city.

I said my piece on the Mid America Shelby meet facebook page, we should have at least been warned that their was no escort this year. I would have passed on the cruise and just met everyone up there and parked...thats basically what happened anyways
