Mid-America 2011

So I got my e-mail invite for the holiday pack registration for the 37th Annual Mid-America Ford and Shelby Meet today. Got me wondering, about when do you guys start to register? Something you wait on for a bit, or do you like to get it done early? Tyler and I are going to have a booth for DLSpeed this year, and we wanted to know what would work to correlate with you guys. Do you have an official meeting space? I want to say I remembered a tent on the hill last year, but I've slept since then, LOL.

This will be my first year as a member of this club, or any club for that matter, and I want to make the most of it. I am sure more of this will be discussed as the times get closer, but seeing this e-mail today got me excited, and I am eager to learn of our plans...

Lee, this is our flagship event. We do everything huge. I usually register around march. More information will be available as we get closer but rest assured we will do it all.

Missed the show this year......not going to miss next years. Going to be a blast. I register in the spring as well.

I attended this show last year and was sad to not be a part of the good times. i am hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that i will be in the show hopefully with this club

Haha sounds good. I attended every event last year, took off a week of work to do it lol...

I hope to have something FORD by then, I had a blast this year... oh and I registered the day of the event

SEMA! Its been my goal for 3 years to go there, sadly havent found a way around getting in. They are pretty picky about how you can attend. I would soo love to go this year...

Hey Jerry when I was moving I found an extra key and key fob forgot to tell you the other day at the toy run so if you need me to take it I would be more than happy as long as you get some new tires!!

im looking forward to this again. ive been trying to get there every year since i moved here. i made it last year for one day. work always bones me. now they wife is preggo so i might have to drop her off at a nice hotel and a day spa and come play

dont start with me. im pullin out all the stops on this one. she got knocked up at mustangfest, we had just bought our registration a week before we found out. i can understand her not wanting to do a long road trip with a 3 month old. but tulsa preggo we can work with. ill just get her a box of bon bons and some dvds

I agree! Its only the biggest event of the year, way to go.

this is a great event to attend, i usually only check in at the cruise and the drag day but still awesome to see all the locals come out and show their cars off

i missed this year's only because i came outta work ready to head down to the hotel to find the passenger side window in my truck broken out and missing a few key items to my interior

wont miss this year, maybe my "street car" will make it out
