Want to verify HP
Article I was reading in 5.0 magazine where they dyno'd a stock 2010 GT500 in the 90 degree humid rich Florida weather and put down 478 RWHP and 470 RWTQ. Thats 560hp with a 15% drivetrain loss. They claim the car had more left in her given the right temperatures.....good lord. I would be curious to verify my numbers and to at least get a baseline before modding. Good read below

Eh, Dyno numbers are cool and all, but it's like asking someone how buch they can bench. What difference does it make if they can still kick your ass?
I keed! Had to Jarrod. I just had to. Lol. I'd be curious too.

Re: Want to verify HP
Put mine on the dyno this week: 438 hp @6200 rpm with 8.27 psi boost.
Weather was 80 deg F and 60% humidity
Going to wait for a cool, dry day and see what she will do.

Re: Want to verify HP
Nope, they are not cheap, I got the base one with just sensor and wiring and it was 150ish. If you look on ebay, you can get both of those under 300 I think. You don't need a dual sensor one, just single.

Put mine back on the dyno today under more favorable conditions. 470.9 hp and 444 ft/lbs torque at 6000 rpm. Weather was 62 deg and 20% humidity.

Re: Want to verify HP
I went out in mine about a month ago. Stock on drag radials went 12.7 with 1.9 60' and TONS of wheel hop. I'd say it's good for a 12.5 in stock trim with some adjustments.

Re: Want to verify HP
I'd guess that with nothing more than suspension work and slicks it would go 12.4-12.3 maybe quicker on a perfect run. Traction is the key factor

Re: Want to verify HP
I need a driver mod bad. I've missed every gear but first and I think thats just a matter of time LOL. I did just upgrade to the MGW shifter and I can feel a big difference and I have up graded the motor mounts and have the trans brace so I cant stick it in second again. Hope to run deep in the 10's
