Re: Oil test......
Ugh, I JUST YESTERDAY changed the oil in the '93 to Mobil 1 Super-syn, as I've used in every car since about '95. Dang, I think I've been duped, at least according to that testing.
Then again, while I understood what they were saying/how they were testing, how does it really compare to what our engines see? If it's truly a representative test, then it looks like the RP oil is the way to go.
Now, I"ve never had any problems with the M1 SS oil, if RP really is better, it's very very cheap insurance!

Re: Oil test......
Yep. It's pretty extreme testing but, the RP was pretty impressive. What really surprised me was how poorly M1 did...

Re: Oil test......
Thats what we are here for :) I would suggest Mobile 1 oil (we use the FULLY SYNTHETIC BLEND) with a motorcraft filter. And you could schedule your oil change on one of our tech days. Can knock that out in no time

Haven't yet. I'm about ready for an old change though. I THINK... O'reily's carries it. If not, I'll order it.

Re: Oil test......
I wouldn't put all my trust in some fellow who is so inexperienced and untrained he had to ask how to interpret the results of his testing: http://forums.noria.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/616604995/m/8381065241 . In addition, he used the one test that has no relationship whatsoever to real-world conditions and he tested oils purchased in Australia - all oil is formulated differently for different markets all over the world.
IMHO, if you change your oil and filter regularly (after no more than 4,000 miles) it doesn't much matter what you use.
