Found these on Ebay for around $40 bucks - For those of you who don't know this - The O'Rieley Auto Parts store on Southwest blvd can make touch up paint into 8oz spray cans for about $25 bucks - That is what I painted mine with.

Hey Robert, I'm doing a spot repair to my chin spoiler where i had to re fiberglass, how well does that paint work? What did you prime with? Any wet sanding? Is it a 2 part paint with clear mixed in or did you clear it? I'm a horrible painter, any advice appreciated!

sounds like its probably single stage. Jimmy, if i were you i would repaint the whole thing. wet sand it with some 1200, let it dry, get some tack cloths and make sure there arent any impurities on the surface. then i would get some grey primer (you can also get this at oreillys) and apply a coat of this. then do your primary painting. make sure its a clean environment. my dad was a PPG paint dealer when i was growing up, so ive seen the worst of the worst and best of the best.

Sounds like a good idea Yancey! Do the primary with the same oriellys premix? I don't have a gun and everything to do it right. Just rattle can the whole thing with their paint?

a chin spoiler would be fine with single stage if you prep it right. those things get beat up by bugs and road debris so much, youre probably looking at doing it just about every year right? just make sure its clean before you primer and paint so everything adheres.
