second exhaust help.
I currently have a 2008 V6 mustang right now but I really love the gt's and their sounds. So I was talking with Jared and he said that either yall could help me out or help me find someone who can possibly install I guess flowmasters and a second exhaust pipe to make it look and possibly sound like a gt..If anyone knows of any ideas or anyone willing to help me out, that would be great! I went to CARFX and they told me it would cost $1000.00. I really don't want to pay a grand for it..so anyways if you can help me out that would be great! Thank you so much!

V6 Dual Exhaust
I have a 2008 V6 Pony Edition myself - I had "True Duals" put under mine about three days after I bought the car - I had mine done at a local custom exhaust shop - They cut the pipe up at the CATs ,ran 2" all the way to the mufflers - I used stock V8 Mustang mufflers (with out a cross over or X-pipe) on mine - It has a sound a lot like a 4.6 just a slightly higher pitched - It DOES NOT sound like a RICER - HP when up big time along with a small increase in mileage.
Because the 4.0 is an even fire motor you realy don't gain anything from the X-Pipe or cross over and you don't need real large pipe like a v8 ,2" works great an keeps the low end TQ and throttle response nice and crisp - That said You can get yours done for less than $450 all day long - Cheaper than that if you can score some used v8 mufflers like I did.
Your welcome to come by and hear mine anytime your in Sand Springs,Ok
