Are there any members here with V6 cars ?
I just bought a 2008 V6 Premium with the PONY Package - I know it isn't a V8 ,but are there any other members here with those ,or is this Club just about horsepower, GTs and Shelby's ??
I already have a stripe kit on order for the hood .

Ditto! Welcome Robert! We have several V6ers. It's more about having fun and enjoying our rides than a horsepower contest.

Re: Are there any members here with V6 cars ?
I run a V6. I love it. Bought it due to the 120 roundtrip drive I had 6 days a week. It's an 08 with 61K on her. Nothing wrong with it. However, that being said when we get the 2011 i'm sure the sixer will go to the girlfriend!

Re: Are there any members here with V6 cars ?
I do have a "TECH" question or two - Does putting a standard square K&N Filter or true dual exhaust make any noticable differance in the power .

Re: Are there any members here with V6 cars ?
Thanks Yancey, your too! I love that green......
Robert I did a K&N on mine with the stock air box, and removes the "boot" that connects the air box to the fender and I noticed an improvement. Slight mileage increase and personally i think I can hear the car breathe easier.
And I also have true duals on mine, catback. I didnt notice mileage increase with that buit you could definately feel the horsepower go up. Just be sure you buy a set off a gt or order prebent, I've had more problems than you could believe with my "shop produced" duals, that axle is a hard bend.

Re: Are there any members here with V6 cars ?
Well - I use LEON's Muffler down in Sapupla - Roger can handle anything with wheels - I watched him make a set headers for a V6 powered Trike from scratch one day - I just wanted to get some idea as to if it was worth the cost - Thanks for the info.

The V-6 is under estimated most times and the new one rated at 305hp will be for sure. Oh I am one of them they are hunting at Hallett with my lil' ol 4.0l turning mid 1:30 lap times.
