i wrecked my GT

I dont know what its called, but the details are is that it a bulb plant, when flowers pop up they sprout like 6-7 pink petals and naturally look like a hard wind is blowing on them. The petals sprout back behind the center of the flower...its wierd looking. But i over wated the thing and was told to cut back the bad stems. Is there any hope for this plant, i feel sad

I know this topic just sounds very boring to a bunch of mustang people. My work gave this to me as a graduation present so it really means alot to me.

I'm hoping someone on here knows of some kind of miracle grow or spray that works really well to get this plant back up to life.

With limited knowledge, cant see the picts, I'd say you need to let it dry out, cut back the "sad" leaves, maybe even repot it with new potting soil. Miracle Gro makes a good plant food, but be careful not to over feed it, it will burn the roots.

Okay, got it . . . not past hope, you can save it. Stake up the stems a little so they aren't touching the dirt, set it in a sunny window, sunlight will help dry it out and bring some life back. Get one of the those "water bulbs" that self waters, i use them on my plants and I dont have to think about watering.

ah cmon, its in the sunlight. i stacked the stems together off the plant. im not sure watering right now will do any good.

Do not water it if the soil is moist. Let it dry out. Put a saucer or bowl underneath and put the water in it, sometimes it helps to let the plant "suck" up the water it needs, instead of drowning it from the top

Pour a little Berryman Chem Tool on it and you will never worry about it again.

You can call them and ask them about the specific plant and what to do to take care of it. You might also just take it by there and have them look at it. They also do soil samples there as well

Well my plant is called a cyclamen, and there maybe hope for it yet, its probably going dormant right now, and it may comeback in september. so we'll see.
I went and bought a new one though and i have it sitting right next to each other.

So since theres a possibility it might bloom again in september. What do u suggest sandy? Ive thought about repotting it in miracle grow, and letting it sit in a bowl of water for awhile in some lighted room.

Repotting it is always a good idea, gives it a more nutrient rich environment, I'd put a saucer under it, water it from the bottom.
