I sold her boys.....I'm Stang-less

Great site guys, I just registered. I probably know a lot of you from the TMS site. Just thought I'd let you know I sold my 06 GT. It was a hard decision, but with two young boys, baseball and other activities every weekend, I had no time for shows. My wife and I decided it was more important to have the money to build or new house, so for now I'm stang-less. Once we build the house and get settled in, I have the green light to look for a GT500 which is what I always wanted in the first place. For those of you who know my car (David, Bob, etc...) it will be in Tulsa this weekend. An older gentleman named David Burke bought it and he'll be at the Shelby meet. Go up and shake his hand. He's a good guy.

We all just got back from the Brookside cruise. Awesome time w/ over 500 great cars. Tomorrow we're off to Hallett.

Hey Rob!! Welcome!! I certainly understand where your priorities are at. No worries... You'll have that GT500 sooner than you think! We'd love you to be a regular here! Rob, I saw your car at the cruise in and was looking for ya and never found you. I guess that explains why. I saw it again at the drag races today and saw the fellow who bought it from ya. I thought......Hmmmmm.......Who is that guy???? Thats not Rob! Now I know. Well I hope you get on and chat from time to time. Good luck on the house and future GT500.

David, Thanks for the feedback. I've had several people tell me they saw my, um.....his, car up there. It's good to know he's enjoying it. I'll see you guys soon. I'm still on the various sites and will still go to shows. Can't wait to get that next Stang!

Be sure to keep us in the loop for the stampeed days we spoke about. I think in September if my memory serves. We are still planning to attend I believe.

It will be in september. It's the Mustang Stampede which is in conjunction with Mustang, Ok's Western Days weekend. I'll provide you all info. as time nears. It's very family friendly. There will be a good sized carnival, parade, arts and crafts, rodeo that night, and the car show on Sat. There will be pleanty for wives, girlfriends, & kids to do if they aren't into the car show part of it.

Doubt I'll have replaced my 06 GT by then, but I'll be there for sure!!!
