fly the friendly skys
well after a few years, lots of work and ALOT of putting things off. i finally took my final exam today. as of 12:17 today i am a fully rated airframe and powerplant mechanic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats right im going to be working on the planes that every one flys on.
the test kinda sucked. should have been easy except i was studying with an out of date book. other then that the test went off without any problems

Yeah turbines are one of my favorite thing to work on. Simple in operation complicated in contruction. I may take additional classes now. Plus I have an easy degree. With all the time I acrued I only need one class for an aviation sciences degree. Going to take that and possibly engineering, definity business.

Re: fly the friendly skys
Hey Jared... I need to brush up on my education a bit. I still need to take my A&P. I have a CD that has the practice test on it but I just don't have the motivation like I use to when I was in school. I guess when I went for my degree i just lost interest. What good is that Applied Science degree if I don't have my A&P. Any help buddy?

it helps you get a job with your license. also opens some other opportunitys. its basicaly a study of aviation history and of older subsystems in aircraft.
i have 27 hours from my training towards specific degrees at tcc. i decided only 3 days ago that i was going to finnish my A&P. ive been using the 07 test guy on cd as well. stuy study study. learn the difference between selsyn, autsyn, and magnasyne, know your metal work calcualations. welding tech(what gases are used in welding specific materials)
i probably went through all 1000+ questions from the test in the last 3 days. just took some special motivation. im going to need money to build a car so i needed more skills for a better job. cars=always good motivation.
