(n00b) who all 05+ is in the 12's?
I have an 05 GT with 4.10's, shortie headers, tune, axle-back exhaust, springs, shocks/struts, and short-throw shifter, and CAI all FRPP. I want to know what you guy think my next mods should be. I really just want it to break into the 12's and then I would be happy.

You should be there now. My best 12.61 @ 109 mph The only thing I have you don't is LCA's and a drive shaft. My car put down 300HP and 320TQ at the wheels on the Dyno.
Next mod If I was you would be some stick tires. Drag radials should put you solid into the 12's

Right on guys... well that would be the shit if I could see her pull a high 12. guess I need to keep my eye out for set DR. I was also thinging my next thing would be a one peace drive shaft. I have heard of a few people having problems with a few brands (can't think of them off the top of my head) any ideas on what i should or shouldn't be looking for?

Spidershaft is good. I have the Dennys one piece. If you have a 5 speed you'll more than likely be ok. If you have lowered you might need an adjustable UCA to get the pinion angle straight.

Like David and Paul said some lower control arms (possibly some LCA relocation brackets depending on your lowering ket) and Drag Radials and you should good for 12s. Ive clocked a 12.79 et with 303rwhp and 317rwtq. I too am looking into a driveshaft in the furture. Drag radials and you should be seeing some 12s most definitely!

how does the LCA help so much? wieght? and the lowering kit is FRPP. about the same as Eibach pro kit might even be the same.

The LCAs will stiffen up/plant the rear axle thus helping you during launch.

sounds like everyone is saying the samething then.. some DR's and some practices at the track and I should be able to pull a high 12 out of her. <-- i dig it.

I think all of us with that set up are in the 12's. Or at least very close!

I also see alot of you have the Steeda CMCV Delete Plates and Steeda UDPs. How much does that help out?

Re: (n00b) who all 05+ is in the 12's?
The UDPs help out. The best way I can describe it is like your car with the AC on and with it off. It eliminates some lag in the motor and allows it to rev a bit faster. The CMCV deletes were good for about 10 hp at the wheels. I picked up a full MPH at the drag strip in worse weather than I had for my previous best MPH. So I figure they were worth at least 10hp to the wheels perhaps a bit more. I would also suggest getting your car Dyno tuned. The canned tunes are better than stock but the custom tune can smooth out all the little things that make it that much better.
