I was looking at Tokico adjustable drag struts. They are kinda pricey but I've only heard great things about them. I've also considered Lakewood 70/30's but I'm not sure I want to sacrifice street/road handling, they are way cheaper though.

Any thoughts or experiences with front struts? I really wanted to hold out for coilovers but I'm not sure they would be worth it in the end.

Post up boys and girls!!

I too have been considering some suspension mods.... I woudnt go as far as drag shock. But some adjustables would be nice!!

I've heard that the Tokico adjustable drag strut when set on full stiff, perform just like a regular strut (my stock struts are Bilsteins) If that's the case then I'm seriously thinking about it.

I've also heard that the single adjustables are not the best for the track, double adjustables would better. That way you can adjust the not only the rebound but also the compression.

Off to do some research.

Yep. I wouldn't want to trade in my handling for a 1/10 of a sec at the track. My plan all along was to build a "All-Around Car" Not extremely well at any one genre, but very competent in all.

I think a good coil over setup is what you're talking about Paul. There are guys running open track one weekend and then going to the drag strip the next weekend with a full coilover setup (front and back).

I'm just not too much into the twisty turny stuff as much as I am good straight line excelleration. I think I will get an adjustable shock that is compatible with a coil over setup and when I decide to pull the trigger on the coil overs then I'll be half way there.
