exhaust step 2
so i finally bought an offroad h pipe and the guy in muskogee that was supposed to install it backed down on me because he said i would lose backpressure and the internal temp would get thrown off and i would start to have minor problems from there on out. does he know what he is talkin about or does he just not want to install it because of emmission laws?

Re: exhaust step 2
Nonsense. About 90% of us run them with no problem. It does require a tune to turn off the O2 sensors. Do you have a tuner?

X2. All running O/R H or X pipes with no issues. Like Paul said rear O2's will need to be turned off so you don't throw codes.

Re: exhaust step 2
That guy just doesnt want to do it. Now if you were not running mufflers that would be a different story. No Mufflers, No back Pressure but the cats are really not that restrictive on these cars so they dont produce a lot of back pressure to begin with. My .02
