Momma said yes.....
I'll be ordering the MGW shifter on payday! I can't wait I'm going to be selling my Steeda Tri ax to recoup some of the money. So if you know anyone that has a T56 and wants a Tri ax, let me know...otherwise it's going up 4-sale on some other boards.
On a side note I got the idler pullies on and new belt to go along with them. No pics as of yet because it was nearly dark when I finished. Once the rain clears out, and I wash the car again, I'll post pics of the engine bay with the new idler pullies.
I'll also try to get a few pics of the MGW shifter before during and after installation

ok, Steeda Tri-ax for $2800 You remove the t-56 and replace it with a built auto and I'll throw the t-56 in for free.

Re: Momma said yes.....
I ordered the MGW shifter, knob and dust boot last Friday. It came in today and wow was I impressed at the looks of it. I was so excited to get it in the car that I forgot to take pictures of it like I planned to do.
So yes it's in the car and all I can say is WOO HOO!!! That thing is nice. The knob feels really good and the shifter is much quieter than the Tri-ax that I had. I haven't really had a chance to bang the gears real hard but I can already tell that it has a little shorter throw, it sits closer to me (very comfortable....and adjustable!!) and it's a little smoother than the Tri-ax. It's way past dark now but maybe I'll post a pic tomorrow evening of the new knob. It's NICE NICE NICE!!!

Re: Momma said yes.....
We'll see how it works at the track tomorrow. I'm going racing with the big boys down here in Lawton. I've heard that the MGW is best for power shifting. I was just getting the hang of it with the Tri-ax so we'll see how it goes with the MGW.
Anyone else power shift when at the track? I hear it is good for .1 - .2 in the E.T. and 3-4 mph's

I do. Already had to rebuild one trans. in this car. If you wanna go fast you have to power shift.
